Symbolism of what?

I know that superstitions and symbolism plays a huge role in these serials. And so in yesterdays' episode I saw one that made me wonder what exactly it symbolises:

The engagement ring was too small for Sugni's finger and it fell on the ground. In another serial, that same thing had happened and it was a bad sign and the couple did not end up marrying each other. Now in PSH, the fact that it rolled to Vikram's feet and he gave his mother's ring to be used instead, is it a sign that Sugni should be with Vikram and not Aditya? Or are they saying that it symbolises Vikram's eventual approval of Aditya and Sugni's relationship?

Julie - May be the CV's have heard us (i generally doubt it). I think Adi -suguni wedding may not happen.

Loved how vikram made the A into V in the mehendi!

Today. Suguni and vikram bump into each other . She gloats about the A for Aditya in her mehendi hand. Vikram cutely wipes off the line in between and ask her to look at it the other way, he he its a V!

JulieD they don't go with their symbolism. If u remember from the starting they were giving hints with their so called symbols that vikram is going to do s sardhakai. Even s said such big things in the mandir that she sees him as her husband and she has given herself to him blah blah. Anyway they don't know symbolism thing they are just using to add masala that's the only way their brains can work now if they have any.

That's so true Komal. They really don't use it well. It just leaves the viewers confused and wanting to see if something will change. That's probably their strategy to keep the viewers
