And that's when they heard the door bang open and geet marched in and shouted back at everyone on their faces, "mein karungi Maan se shaadi..do you get that? I will marry him… so leave him alone!"

The room fell silent…everyone dumbstruck by the turn of events. The nanny brought a sleepy dia and namra inside. Geet shot a stern look to everyone and guided the kids to their room. She tucked them properly in their bed and asked the nanny to leave. Everyone stood there silently watching her. there was a strange determination on her face that scared Jasmeet. Hope she was not going to do things that she feared!!! After dia and namra had slept off…she came out closing the door to their room and finally looked up at everyone, angrily.

She had just come back when she heard Jasmeet talking to Maan and Dadima shouting at him. How could she let him feel miserable? And hearing about namra….her heart contracted..as if it was her who had endured that pain!!! And when she couldn't bear Dadima's words..she just barged in shouting at everyone.

Geet: leave him alone Dadima!!

Dadima looked at geet…surprised! It was confirmed…Dadima was 200% sure that geet still loved Maan despite Anisha or his kids!!

Jasmeet: geet….do you realize what are you saying?

Geet shot a look to Jasmeet, "tho iss wajah se aap milne aayi thi Maan se…hain na!"

[so this is why you came to meet Maan..right!]

Jasmeet: yes I did…. And I have my own reasons. Lets get back home geet. Mein tujhe lene lene aayi thi…

With this Jasmeet held geet's hand and tried to pull her out but geet just jerked away her hand and stood in front of Maan!!

Geet: humari baat poori nahi hui abhi tak…. Do you even realize what he must have felt all these days..without Anisha di…taking care of the kids…all alone… no one to share his pain or his happiness…. aur kitni asani se usey ye sab kehg diya Dadima aapne….

Dadima couldn't bear that intensity in geet's eyes…she had to look away.

Dadima: isiliye hum keh rahe the Maan se ye sab geet..we want to see him happy…someone who could fill the role of a mother for dia and namra… Maan can't take care alone..children need both their parents…

And who would understand that pain better than geet! Jasmeet looked down trying to hide that lone tear that tried to escape her eyes. her own past danced in front of her eyes…and her daughter was walking on the same painful path that she had walked on 1^st and this is why she had come to stop Dadima or Maan from pulling geet into that darkness. She couldn't have seen geet going through the same pain that she had undergone….

Geet retorted back, "this is why I want this to happen!!! I will take care of dia and namra Dadima… I don't and I can't trust anyone else!! I know how it feels….and I don't want my daughter's to suffer from the same!"

All this while Maan was quiet..she was too shocked to respond but geet's words did alert him!! 'my daughters' echoed in his mind…..he just looked at her..and blinked his eyes a couple of times! He remembered he had seen many girls on Dadima's insistence but none could he relate to the one who will be able to look after the kids..!!! most of them agreed half heartedly just because he was the owner of the Khurana empires..thats it! But he was witnessing someone different here!!!

Dadima was quiet by now…she knew if geet wanted to do something for Maan..she will do it no matter what!!! And she knew she was being selfish..but if being selfish could bring two souls together to happiness..then that wasn't bad right!!! Before anyone could say anything, Maan spoke up, "I need to talk to geet…alone!"

Everyone looked at him but geet held his hand and led him towards the balcony, away from the living room where others stood! Maan stood looking at geet..who looked out of the balcony.

Maan: you have your own life geet…what are you doing?

Geet smiled, "am not doing anything…I really don't want you or dia or namra to feel lonely…"

Maan: par geet…. How could you…I mean tune jo Dadima se kaha….

Geet cut him off, "I mean it Maan…. I cannot leave my daughters alone! I wanted to know what you think…"

Maan looked towards the sky and held the railing, "to be honest geet…. I really want Anisha back! life is nothing without her….and i never wanted a second marriage. I cannot cheat on her geet…. But dia aur namra ko dekh kar sometimes I feel so helpless…! Ye dil aur dimag hain na,…bahut pareshaan kar rahe hain mujhe,…mujhe samajh hi nahi aata ke mein kya karun!!!"

Geet still had smile intact…guess even pain doesn't hurt anymore!!!

Maan: but you do not understand geet…..its not easy for me to accept someone other than ansiha as my wife…. I just don't want this….i want someone who could just not expect anything from me…I wont be able to give her anything….

Geet smiled inwardly….she actually felt like laughing…! Today..why did it feel that Maan didn't know her at all!!! He actually didn't know her!!!

Geet: its okay Maan…

Maan cut her off, "no..its not okay!! I cannot play with anyone's life geet!!! And not even yours! Tu meri sabse achi dost hain…I can't spoil your life geet..you have your own life to live!!!"

Geet looked at him…awed with his words!!! He went closer to her and cupped her face, "badi mushkil se tujhe dhondha hain geet…mein nahi chahta meri wajah se tujhe koi bhi takleef ho!!! Live your life geet…. And don't get yourself into this!!!"

Geet held his hands over her cheeks, "tune kaha na ke mein teri sabse achi dost hoon…"

Maan nodded!

Geet: tho mujhe apni dosti nibhane nahi dega? I am not doing anything for you Maan..i am doping it for my daughters..dia and namra!! So please let me do it!

But she read complete apprehension in his eyes.

Maan: no geet….don't spoil your life…

Geet made a cute face, "ehh le..mein spoil kahan kar rahi hoon? Merin tho apni betiyon ke liye ye kar rahi hoon!!! Aur rahi baat teri..rest assured Maan. Tujhe kabhi bhi shikayat ka mauka nahi doongi….."

[ehh le…how come I am spoiling? Am doing it for my daughters and as far as you are concerned Maan… I will never give a chance to complain…]

Maan was still not convinced. He really respected geet's love for his kids but he knew marrying geet will not do him or her any good. This relationship holds no future..he was sure of that! for him…geet was spoiling her life…! He tried to argue.. but geet heard none. She held his hand and dragged him out.

Dadima and Jasmeet hadn't spoken a word. They stood up seeing geet and Maan come. Maan was completely apprehensive about this marriage…. Before he could speak anything, geet looked into Dadima's eyes directly, "I will go to Delhi with you!"

Ohh god…. Things were happening just too fast for Maan!! Why was she doing all that when he said clearly he didn't want that!! he looked at her…confused at what she was thinking..but she was expressionless! Geet walked out..while Maan went to his angels' room. Jasmeet gave a stern look to Dadima.

Jasmeet: mil gayi aapko khushi??? Ab dekhna what she does!!

[happy now? Now she what she does!]

She turned away and walked off. Dadima just stood still…. What will she do now? Was expecting a little bit of happiness was a sin? Was she wrong? Was being selfish for your loved ones was wrong?

She sighed and walked into the kids' room only to see Maan sitting on the floor..near the bed, caressing namra's hair!!

Anisha did have complications during namra…but he didn't she didn't want the baby!!! he kissed namra's forehead, "I am so sorry baby…daddy is not good na…"

His tears fell on namra's cheek and she moved a little. Dadima put her hand on his shoulder. He held her hand and turned to hug her by her waist.

"geet aisa kyun kar rahi hai Dadima?", he cried. Dadima knew Maan would not be ready for this. But she just held him close, "ye shaadi kar lijiye Maan…. Humare khatir…please…."

[get married Maan….for us…please…]

Maan just looked at her…shocked..even Dadima couldn't understand him!!! Why?? And its Dadima's wish too!!! He just stood up and walked into his room.

That night….jasmeet tried to talk to geet but she just locked herself in the room and didn't speak to anyone. It wasn't easy for Maan either. He really didn't want this but Dadima made him swear on her. he half heartedly booked one extra return ticket to Delhi.

Geet was packing her stuffs…she'd be flying to Delhi the next day. Roops didn't understand why she was doing like this!!! Roops came to her room and saw her packing. She held her hands and geet looked at her.

Roops: I wont ask you why you are doing this…but I will definitely ask you to think about Aryan for once. For god's sake he loves you geet… and you both are engaged!!!

Geet: but he understands me more than you Roops…

And she resumed her packing. Her one sentence made Roops quiet. She was not at all happy..in fact no one was happy with this…. Just that everyone pretended to be! Aryan had known everything, but he was just waiting for geet to come and say it to him herself.

The next day…Aryan was at his studio for his song recording. He was lending his voice for an upcoming movie. He had seen geet packing and arranging stuffs. He took a deep breath in and gestured his musicians to start—

He smiled inwardly and closed his eyes. Wasn't his story a film? But it was better to let her go than regret this relationship.

She stepped out of her car and walked into the studio…her heart pounding lloud. She has to tell Aryan about her departure. He had been keeping so busy..and so was she that they didn't get a chance to speak properly to each other.

Aryan slowly opened his eyes..to see her standing in a white sari with golden border in front of the glass window of the recording room. He smiled at her and gestured with his eyes that everything will be fine.

Abhi abhi dohrane ki baat

Abhi na karo sambhalne ki baat

He saw tears in her eyes…he could see it from afar. He kept looking into his eyes and nodded for a no. she kept her hand on the glass….he blinked a couple of times to hide his own tears…..and smiled back at her again!

Abhi abhi zindagi shuru hai..
Abhi abhi tham jaane ki baat
Woh subah toh bewaja ho
Ki guzare bin tumhare jis ki raat

He took off his headphone, kept the mic away and walked towards her in the middle of the recording. He opened the door and held her hands.

Aryan (smiling): tum khush ho na geet?

[are you happy geet?]

Geet had never met a person like Aryan. he was the perfect man a girl could ever wish for…but she realized she did not deserve him. A person like him..will only be happy with a girl with golden heart..not her. she knew he was hurt and she knew that he wouldn't stop her either…but she wanted to go…her heart wanted to go!!!!

Geet nodded through her tears and hugged him, "thank you sooo much Aryan….. I know thank you bahut chota sa shabd hai tumhare liye…but trust me I really don't have more to give you…I'm sorry"

he walked her towards the exit…where Maan was waiting. She had got a call from Dadima. She had informed them to pick her up from the studio. They walked hand in hand..probably for the last time through the corridor..and there they saw Maan..standing at the main exit…waiting for her. Aryan went and hugged his friend. Maan reciprocated. Aryan held Maan's hand and gave geet's hand in his, "heartiest wishes to both of you…aur ek dusre ka khayal rakhna…"

Maan held her hand loosely….geet noticed that. Maan walked ahead and she followed.

She felt a tug in her hand as she moved a step ahead!!! She turned around to see Aryan holding one of her hands. She looked at Aryan with questioning eyes. there was a sudden silence all around.

Aryan: geet…mat jaao…[geet…don't go…]

For once geet got alert…but then she remembered..she was the only who had asked him to stop her if she tries to go back to him!!! She felt her heart go heavy….too heavy with the emotional volcano erupting within. He was simply keeping his promise!!! She bit her lips to muffle that cry and turned away from him… she turned towards Maan and held his hand tight and walked ahead!!!

Her hand slipped out from aryan's grip as she held on to Maan tightly with her other hand. As she moved….the ring she was wearing in the hand Aryan was holding just slipped off and fell by Aryan's feet with a ringing sound…! There was so much silence that he could hear the falling on the ring by his feet!!! Aryan watched her get into the car and vanish. He sighed and looked down at the thing that fell. He lifted up that ring and took a careful look at it…it was the same ring that he had made geet wear on their engagement ceremony!!

update geet announced dia namra her daughter now geet decided to go back to delhi with maan and kids awsem

oh my god ashy you made me cry again...but yeah I loved it 😊
the scene where geet leave aryan's hand and holds maan's was very touching and it made me feel bad for Aryan...

but i loved geet who stood like a true friend and did not flinch once to call maan's children as hers she truely is a mother 😊

i hope maan understands that geet was his parineeta forever
