Part 8

Khushi and payal reached the village...and they went straight to arnav's house.

Anjali was sitting in the garden itself waiting for them and soon as she entered they entered she jumped up with happiness and greeted them.

They went inside the room and arnav's mother was there khushi and payal both wished her. There was a pretty girl sitting next to his mom and was talking to her. She looked alot like anjali but khushi had never seen her.

Anj: khushiji this is sidhi

Sidhi this is khushiji and payal.

K: hi sidhi

P: hi

Sidhi: hi

They sat inside for a while when arnav's father entered he had just come from Delhi as he had to stay back for some work.

Khushi immediately wished him...for some reason she was very scared of his dad.

He smiled and wished them back and turned to his wife

Tanvi where is arnav?

T: he is with his friends...

Oh so the great arnav singh raizada is busy with his friends!

Anj: khushiji and payalji why don't you guys relaz for sometime...

K: please anjali stop this ji and stuff and congratulations...you, me and arnav almost got the same marks...(anjali had written her 12^th std exams) of course you got more.

Anj: thanx khushi

K: you know i was so nervous for math i literally fainted on my paper

Anj: i know arnav told me...

Arnav told her so he probably told her their whole telecon...maybe he is very close to her.

They sat like that chatting for about an hour when arnav came in

He saw khushi and was about to laugh...and she instantly blushed..

He just cooly smiled to himself and ignore her...

She tried to catch his attention but he just pretended she din't exist.

What is wrong with him? Ok nevermind!

Suddenly she saw that he was talking to sidhi and she was laughing about something and she even hit him lightly on his hands.

Khushi was going green with envy now and at the same time she felt like crying because obviously sidhi was so much more prettier and a better match for arnav. She just decided not to tell anyone anything..

Arnav again went away from there.

Khushi felt like she would choke to death but she went to the pooja with arnav's family and payal.

She told payal she wanted to stay in the guest house and it wouldn't look nice if they stayed at arnav's place and payal agreed to that...

While khushi was going towards the pooja with payal she found arnav there and he cooly started walking by their side...khushi did not open her mouth. Only payal and arnav were talking...

Finally when payal and khushi found a nice place near the ladies he walked off and went towards the men.

P: khushi i don't want to talk to this arnav

K: why

P: till you both weren't talking he usked maska maro me and now he treats me so badly

K: leave it jiji he is a very big laad governor full of attitude!

P: seriously! Weirdo!

They finished the pooja late at night and akash went to drop payal and khushi to the guest house.

Khushi could not sleep properly that night.

Next morning

P: khushi wake up we are already late!

K: jiji please let me sleep

Waise even if we get up we will go to that idiots house i don't want to

P: oho

Khushi reluctantly got up and got ready and they went and finished the morning pooja session.

Anjali was standing near the gate...

Thank god you both came was looking around for you'l

K:hmm

P: hi

Anj: ok lets go home now!

By the way khushi what about your admission?

K: yeah i finished that and came...

Anj: great arnav's admission was yesterday he finished that and came here in the afternoon.

K: oh that's nice ( so he din't even tell me)

They walked for sometime and arnav came and gave anjali a packet full of things she had asked him to buy for the pooja...

Just then one aunty came and started talking to her..

K: least you can say is a hi arnav!

A: hi

K: And by the way did you get my offline messages

A: do you think i am jobless

What the hell why is he being so rude? Maybe because of that sidhi! Just leave it khushi she turned and walked off and anjali followed her...anjali did not notice them talking

They reached home and khushi was sitting with everyone...payal had found some friends of hers and she wanted to be with them so she asked khushi to be with anjali and she went off..

Khushi was sitting in the middle and talking and everyone else was like an audience to her they were asking her so many questions and she was happily answering.

Anj: khushi i heard you make very nice black forest cake

K: yes i do

Anj: great give me the recipe

Tanvi: khushi beta what else do you know how to cook...anjali take all the recipes from her...shez such a good cook..

K: well no i am not a good cook i just love making desserts.

Anj: thats great so start

Anjali was writing down all the recipes...

K: excuse me i'll just be back i want water...

Khushi got up and went to the kitchen to drink water when suddenly arnav came there..

A: khushi do you know how to cook every damn thing on this earth?

K: yes i do whats your problem

A: by the way what offline messages were you talking about?

K: oh your not jobless na arnav so why should i bother you with silly offline messages

A: just shut up and answer me

K: no i won't

A: say

K: fine was just telling you that i had to leave because...

She stopped as she saw sidhi standing near the door and arnav turned around and walked out from there...

Khushi went back and continued her recipe session.

After sometime khushi was sitting in the garden alone and sidhi came upto her..

S: what happened khushi?

K: nothing just sitting

S: can i join you

K: of course you can

S: by the way does arnav talk to you

K: yeah he does why?

S: just surprised because he doesn't talk to any girl just like that

K: what do you mean he is my friend

S: i mean he never talks to girls at all except for his classmates

K: great

Sidhi sits and starts telling her stories about her and arnav and that arnav is very close to her...

Khushi just wanted to cry that minute...who is this sidhi actually?

Just then some children came and they were playing with khushi and khushi also felt happy and she was lost in the games with the children she suddenly felt weird and looked over the wall...( the walls of that house were very low )

She saw arnav at a little distance standing near a shop with his friends and he was looking at her...she ignored and continued to play... again when she looked up she found him still staring at her...

She too looked at him

Rabba vey...

They kept staring at each other for at least 10 mins when she felt a hard tug on her sleeves...she had completely forgotten about the kids..

And then she started playing and shouting and was running about when arnav's dad came and she almost banged into him...

Gone khushi what will he think about you now? Why do you act so stupid?

She ran into the house and sat there when arnav entered with some ice creams for everyone...he had got a box full and gave it to everyone even khushi...she happily ate it..

Actually khushi had not eaten anything since morning and arnav knew it so he got her the ice creams...but khushi din't know that..

It was dinner time and all the food was arranged near the temple for everyone...all of them had gone but it was too crowded and khushi's chance never seemed to come...she gave up and went to one corner...when anjali came with a plate..

Anj: khushi we goto share the food no other option

K:ok

Khushi and anjali were eating from the same plate and arnav was watching them...

He was just amazed at how well she bonded with his family she just seemed to be a part of it...he smiled to himself and he could not understand why...

They finished that nights pooja and retired to their respective sleeping places...

Next morning

Khushi woke up early and got ready...payal was still sleeping

K: jiji wake up we need to go lets finish the pooja and leave in the evening we have to go back alone...

P: ok getting up

They were ready and went to arnav's house

They all went to the pooja together...payal had given akash her phone to take some pictures.

Khushi found phupaji also there and he told them that he had come for a day and so they could go back with him.

They finished the pooja and went back home..

Khushi was feeling really hungry but when she had gone the food was over...

Tanvi: khushi beta enough is enough you can't stay hungry...i told you so many times you have to eat something...i'l ask somebody to get you something...but your just not listening

K: but aunty i don't want i'm fine i am not hungry...( great as it is arnav thinks i am a foodie and now toh gone!)

Tanvi: keep quiet khushi!

Arnav ...Arnav she yelled on top of her voice

He came quickly

Arnav this stupid girl has not eaten anything just go now and get her something

A: why me

T: just go now!

Arnav went and then returned with some chips packets...

T: your so dumb arnav this is what you have bought?

A: there was nothing else

T: khushi take this eat at least two packets

K: what no i can't

T: eat now!

She had no other choice and took two packets ...she looked up and arnav just winked at her, smirked and walked away...

Now it was time for khushi to go back to lucknow and when they were sitting in the car arnav was standing right next to the door befor sitting in she looked up at him... they shared an eyelock
