Dr. Rohan: Yeah Khushi was 3 weeeks pregnant when she came to me few days ago and I could see the excitement on her face. She almost started crying.

Arnav: Khushi is pregnant?

Dr. Rohan: Yeah didn't Khushi tell you?

Chapter 9

Arnav stood up from his chair and left the room. He was speechless. He went to his car and drove as fast as he could to Gupta house.

He found the door open and entered the house.

Arnav: Khushi... Khushi... Khushi...!!!!!!!!

Bua ji who has gone to get the water came home and saw Arnav looking around and calling Khushi name.

Bua ji: Arnav Babua ???

Arnav turned to bua ji without even saying "Namaste" he asked her about Khushi.

Arnav: Where is Khushi Bua ji...?

Bua ji: Woh she is not home

Bua ji said without looking into Arnav eyes.

Arnav: Where is she Bua ji and I am asking you this last time.

Bua ji: She... Le... left

Arnav: WHAT!!!!!! WHERE? HOW?

Bua ji: I don't know. All I know is she has left all of us.

Arnav ran his hands threw his hair in fustration. He closed his eyes for a second and then opened.

Arnav: She things she can leave without even telling me right? I will find her and make her life as h**l. How dare she hide something that big from me?

Bua ji got scared after hearing what Arnav just said " He will make her life as h**l?" Does he even know he will hurt his child like that too? Does she even know the truth well whatever it is it was his fault? Why didn't he keep his promise? He was supposed to be beside her no matter what happen but nothing. He chose the wrong person who he loved till death. Who lied to him instead of her who would bear all the pain for him and his family, will be beside him no matter in what trouble he is in but he? He left her all alone.

Bua ji looked at Arnav in anger and said "Whatever you do to her you will get punished for it. You only thought about your sister but what about her. She even left her family because of YOU!!!!!!!

Arnav knew if he stayed more in the Guptas house he will yell at Bua ji which he didn't wanted to do. Right now he had more important things to do rather then talking to Bua ji and asking her where is Khushi when he knew she wouldn't tell him even if she knew.

When he got home he straight went to his room.He closed the door behind him and threw his tie on the bed and opened his top botton of his shirt. He was pi**ed off. " I am going to be a father? But why didn't she tell me? What if that they Khushi wanted to tell me that we are going to have a child? Does anyone know that Khushi is pregnant? What have I done? I threw her out of the house when she needed me the most. Where is she? Where did she go? What if I never get to see my child? No, no no I won't let that happen. I will get khushi back no matter what I have to do, where I have to search?

Arnav grabbed his cell phone and call someone. He went downstair and saw Aryan giggline. He so wanted to see his OWN child giggling and smiling at him. How would he feel then? He took Aryan from Nani arms and then looked at everyone else.

Arnav: Nani I will be going to Lucknow tomorrow...

Everyone got shocked. Why suddenly Arnav wanted to go?

Anjali: Why Chote is everything okay?

Arnav didn't wanted to tell anything right now to his family said "Yeah Di I just have some important work"

Dadi: Well how long will you be there for?

Arnav who was confused now not knowing how long it will take him to find out.

Arnav: "I don't know Dadi even more than one week." Arnav said with an irritation look on his face.

Dadi looked at him and then everyone else.

Dadi: Then why don't we all go together. Everyone will have vacation and when you come back everyone will come back with you except me. Then I will stay in Sheesh Mahal.

Arnav who was shocked now. He never wanted anyone else to come with him and now Dadi was paling for everyone to come with him. No that couldn't happen.

Everyone got happy with the idea that Dadi gave.

Arnav: No!!!!! No one is going anywhere!!! I have some important work and I am going alone. That is final.

Aryaan starting giggling seeing his Mamo yelling at everyone while everyone sat back in shock with Arnav behavior. Arnav looked at Aryaan and then back at his family. He so wanted to smile at Aryan but he knew he have to stay serious. If anyone see him smiling then they will start convincing him to take them to Lucknow with him.

Arnav walked back to his room. He placed Aryaan in the middle on the bed and went to the closet to take a bag out to start packing.

Arnav then started talking to Aryaan while he was packing his clothes.

" Buddy what do you want? A sister or a brother? I am going to get you Maami back into this house" He stopped packing and then sat down on the bed taking Aryan into his lap. " You know I would love to take everyone with me but then I won't be able to search her when they are with me." Aryan smilied at Arnav making without even understanding still acting like he understood his Mamo

Everyone was having dinner. They were still little mad at Arnav for his behavior in the morning. When Arnav was done with his dinner he saw Anjali cleaning Aryan mouth after his dinner. He asked Anjali if he can take Aryaan to his room and sleep with him today. Although Anjali was mad she still didn't decline her brother knowing how much he loves them and Aryaan. Anjali slightly smilied and gave Aryan to Arnav who was more excited in his Mamos arm then his own mother.

When Arnav got to his room. He lay down on the bed making Aryan sit on his stomach and started talking to him. After half an hour Aryan fell asleep right on Arnav chest.

The Next morning when Arnav got up he saw Aryaan still sleeping on his chest with his little arms around Arnav trying to hug him. Arnav smilied and kissed his forehead. He then looked at the clock and it was already 5. He had to leave in an hour. He quickly pick Aryan up and made him lay down on the other side of them with pillows around him so he wouldn't fall down while he takes the shower and comes back.

When Arnav came out he brushed his hair and got ready to leave. He pick up Aryaan i his left arm while picking up his bag and giving it to HP to put it in his car while he took Aryaan to Anjali room. When Arnav entered Anjali room he saw her sleeping peacefully. He put Aryan near Anjali and kissed on the forhead of both of them "I will be back soon Di. Just pray that I find Khushi and I promise I won't come back until I don't find her and bring her with me "He stood up from the bed and left the room knowing now what his mission ahead of him is.
