So,

by opening this site, where should i go next. What are its consequences? If new windows is going to be installed..will the earlier setup data be lost?

ok, now i havent taken IT so its a bit difficult for me to understand. Also risky if i am going to try it myself.

Will the earlier internet explorer option remain after downloading the new win98.. OR Am I needing to change the Entire programme instaled in the comp for getting the better facilities??

Hey kk u don't need to go to that website!!... that only for removing ur adwares etc,.!!

So do as i said, go to the update microsoft link in the post i mentioned earlier!... http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

- don't worry any of ur data shall not be affected, it just updates ur pc since u got a cable line as u mention, u need not worry let microsoft automatically update ur pc, select udate uption when microsoft ask u that should it update ur pc!!.... don't worry it shall not damage ur pc at all!!
... but one thing U should not do any work on ur pc when ur pc is been updates by microsoft,
after updating is done it shall automatically inform u and then u need to restart ur pc!!
any more clarification u need plz feel free to contact!!😊

... the update procedure is just like paining ur old car and servicing it, that does not change the model of ur car right?? neither does it affect the shape and size of ur car right?? ... it shall just make ur car look new and improve its performance!!

.... updating windows is also the same thing!!

Hi kk ,
u asked me via pm,

How do you place a powerpoint presentation on web?

their shall always there be a upload button in any website where u want to upload a file, click on the upload button and - then - browse - select the file u want and then - click on ok!!

This is the method to upload any file in our website, coz it only allows to upload winzip files: If u want to upload any file be it pp file u just need to zip the file first then upload the file using the button in the Miscellaneous section postings, u can upload the file in our site!!
A zip file shall have icon like after it is zipped!!

To download winzip , visit the site: www.winzip.com
U can click at the image below to go the website! there go to download section and select winzip for downloading!

Hi ritu,

If you have Windows Media Player 9 then it shouldnt be a problem to play a WMF file. If you have Windows media player older version(6.4 or 2) then i recommend upgrade to Windows media player version 9 if you are on Windows98, or to windows media player version 10 if you are on WindowsXp.

If you already have the latest version then, uninstall and reinstall your windows media player. Remmember to restart the machine after uninstalling and then reinstall.

If still one particular file isnt playing & others with same extention are then there must be some problem with the file.

All the Best.

Jammy.

Thanks Jammy i'll try it out. But from where should i get Media player version 9.0 ? is it available on net or do i have to get a CD from market. I am having windows 98 in my comp.
