Few ramblings about Arnav

"Mother is to be honored above all" is what we have always been taught. In reality, people may bear insults to themselves, but if one word is out about the mother, all hell breaks loose. Why? Because of the pure love a mother shares with her kids and all the sacrifices she makes for them and there's no expectation in return; it's a most sacred relationship. It's almost at the same level as God's love for us. But, let's not forget mother is 'GOD LIKE' and 'NOT GOD'. She's human just like any one of us and makes mistakes, has her strengths and weaknesses.

To Arnav and Anjali their mother is on a pedestal, up there, and god forbid anyone who tries to prove she's human like the rest of us. Did Ratna Malik never make mistakes? Did she even remember that her daughter was getting married? Did she listen to her husband who was protesting that he's innocent? Didn't she in her temporary and emotional state commit suicide? Didn't she leave her children to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives? But, do her children realize how weak she was? I guess that's why we have the term 'BLIND LOVE'. Loving someone doesn't mean we are blind to their weaknesses, but we learn to accept them warts and all and if possible help the other person overcome their faults.

Today, we saw how much Arnav is still caught up in his past and how extremely painful it is for him to even talk about his mother's death. Cherishing the sweet memories is one thing, but having it tie you up in chains '. is that what's needed? When it comes to his mother, Arnav's still that little boy who had wonderful moments with his mother, the mother who tried to teach him good things and good behavior. Ratna Malik is always right in her son's eyes and if anyone tries to hurt her or tarnish her memories, they should be punished, discarded and pushed away. There's nothing more important than his mother. This is Arnav's attitude and though his mother tried to correct him, he hasn't changed. Even though the memory of Khushi asking him not to be late for their marriage is ringing in his ears, he discards the rose flower (Khushi) that he found earlier, just because of the thought of the thorns (Garima) in the rose bush that hurt his mother long time ago. Ahhh, so he still wants to hang on to the past for some more time.

As he's driving to the mandap, Arnav's mind is churning up the past memories, some good, some bad. He has no sense of his surroundings and is caught up in his thoughts and is almost at death's door and whose thoughts are those that help him awaken from his trance like state? Is it his mother's? Na huh, it's none other than Khushi's who almost lost her life for him.

Previously, Tanthya gave us the REDUX title Ksheer Sagar. We all know that the sagar was churned to get amrith (nectar of immortality). What came first during the churning was halahal (deadly poison) and it was extremely unbearable. But if the churning was stopped, would the gods have ever received the gift of life? Before the amrit appeared, as indicators of good things to come, there was Kamadhenu (the sacred cow), Kalpavriksha (wish fulfilling tree), Lakshmi (goddess of wealth) etc. Now, how does this relate to Arnav? I've written in a previous post that the past tied to his mother has been festering inside and the poison is emerging out now. When one is bitten by a snake, as a quick solution, people squeeze the poisonous area, suck it out and spit it. Same way, here too, the poison has to be removed completely and it will be extremely painful. Is there no hope for happiness? Of course there is. The strength of his love for Khushi and Khushi herself will be there to counter the effects of the halahal and help him through one of the worst phases of his life. When the past and its affects are gone, Arnav will taste the sweet nectar of love for ever with no attachments to the past '.. this is true freedom that love and only love can give.

How unconditional her love is towards anyone , she strongly believed that he will come to the Mandap to marry her. She said it is test for their Love.

He came there with a heavy heart , and when Kushi tried to touch him , he did not let her touch him.

He said he only came there just for her. I want to wait and see what he has to say tommorow !

He has to pass in their Love test.

I think tommorow he will say , he will marry her but ono condition that she will have not have any relation with Garima, to which Kushi will never agree. Will Garima force her for the marriage? May be she will distance herself for her daughters happiness !

Loved Naniji ..she is such a wonderful lady. She came running to Kushi , saying "hamari bachi ." She knows how much they both love each other. She reassures Kushi that Arnav will definetly come.🤗
