Don't get me wrong, I really, really love this show, and it's the only one I am following presently.
But the number of tracks that they're developing is making my head swim.
1. Adi's marriage with Latika and Pankhuri realizing her love for him:
Somehow I think that the entire marriage in 15 days track was suddenly sprung upon the viewers...for I really would have liked to see Adi's and Pankhuri's relationship develop a little more intensely.
Granted, we got some really good scenes. But I find it really hard to believe that Adi is so insensitive to Pankhuri's feelings. He calls her his best friend, but she is still the girl he approached for marriage at one point. It's almost as if he's shoving his impending marriage and stylish fiancee into her face!
Pankhuri's realization of her feelings is however a logical development. She is after all more mature than Adi. You rock, gal!
2. Shivam's introduction and his probable marriage with Pankhuri
I personally felt that the character is being wasted on this show. Granted that he was used to create a misunderstanding by Pankhuri, but I felt that the writers could have utilized him a little bit more in creating some feelings on Adi's part. The only part I liked was the intense look of confusion on Adi's face when Shivam opens the car door for Pankhuri. There could have been more scope to the character of Shivam.
And I find it really hard to digest that Adi suddenly stops asking Pankhuri about Shivam? He was interrogating her like a policewala before! And why did Shivam accept the job offer? Is he a villian?
3. The Daadi and Harish track:
I liked the way they reinvigorated the rift between Adi and Harish in yesterday's episode...they should have followed it up a long time back!
And I really liked the character of Daadi because she appreciated Pankhuri and found her to be a suitable bride for her grandson. But still, the medley of tracks is giving me a headache!
4. The Mama-Mami track
Sometimes I don't get the point between why Sheela and Anuj should be scheming all the time. It's almost as if I don't know what they're doing!
And the writers need to be clear about their purpose and why they target Pankhuri all the time.
5. Kulluwale missing!
Most importantly, I also don't get why Pankhuri's family has left her in the lurch. They haven't been speaking to her, and her Dadaji is missing which I think is a huge minus. Won't her parents atleast call her up daily and want to know what their daughter is going through?
It just seems to me to be a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth...I hope the writers know what they are doing and give us some pleasant surprises on the way .
