The neighboring show is gearing up for high voltage drama. The TRP crowd is bound to be lured. Hope the KTLK CVs make use of this opportunity by offering some gripping and intense tracks that can ensure that the captive audience sticks around half an hour longer. Once you have drawn them in and built a loyal base, then it is a matter of consolidation. Get going, KTLK CVs!

Good post. Don't worry the new cvs are already in the process of attracting the spill over audience to our show. What are those 2 episodes with CM drama for.? To make the viewers of the other show stick on to this show. Ktlk is also a high voltage drama as it shocks the medical fraternity😆

Radhika...I think the medical fraternity has given up looking for logic in TV shows and films, tbh,,,I was just telling a doctor friend yesterday...his response was what is new...every show murders medical logic...I think they are completely desensitized...so if it helps the show do better, then so be it...!

Btw, the neighboring show has made an ass out of the legal system...bottomline is some profession or the other is made a scapegoat in the pursuit of drama...sigh!

Nice post sujatha ji..😛.
i feel KTLK is all set for high voltage drama too...it is very much evident from the way thrilling tracks are being shown n each epi has a nail biting finish with a thriller precap...we better fasten our seat belts for a roller coaster...😉

Jokes apart I second your post. If this drama hikes trp then it is a big YES for me. they are in the business and know how to sell a product. Few viewers like me may be disappointed but all is well that ends well.

Don't have expectations of logic...and you won't be disappointed...yesterday, I watched the entire crash course etc etc with a smile...you know the sort you have when you are indulging your kid...you know he is not making sense and yet you indulge him because you love him...I think it was something like that...but tbh, they tried so hard to be credible...other shows would have shoved it in your face and said to hell with logic...these guys were trying to come up with some rationale to the irrational...so, just for their effort, I feel like being indulgent!

I think we better stop thinking about logic here...i being a part of medical fraternity have accepted it the way it is...Untill it is serving its purpose of attracting audience and providing entertainment i guess nothing else matters...
I only ask one question to myself at end of each epi...DID I HAVE A GREAT TIME???and most of the time my answer is YES... n for the last few epis it has been A BIG BIG YESSS😃

Fatima, if you are willing to suspend disbelief despite being from the fraternity itself, then there is nothing more to say...

Like you said, the bottomline is if you enjoyed yourself for the duration of those 20 minutes...if you did, then indeed logic jaaye baad men...you might think of how silly it was and even laugh about it later...but for the duration of the epi, the emotion was what carried you...not the logic...case rests!

One observation. It is not relevant to your post. This is my first mega serial. Though I've had glimpses of other shows thanks to my mom and mother in law, I don't know anything about mega serials though used to wonder how they go on for years.. I remember you stating it is your first show. Is it this thing which makes us very sensitive, and choosy and we look for logic in everything. If experienced in watching daily soaps I would have taken anything in stride. But it is not too late. I am a fast learner and learnt the ways of a daily soap. Now I understand how they drag the story for years and what are the compromises involved.
