The other problem w/ a new banner contest now is that one would have to edge out some of the serials in the current banner to make space for more recent mythos, such as DkDM and DBSK. I know that the latter sucked, but Vishal was a fantastic Krishna, and Revathy & Balarama were good as well - when the latter wasn't decked up like Agamemnon.

I propose that we have a banner made entirely out of asur/rakshasa photos. C'mon that would be awesome. 😎😆

The other problem w/ the current banner is its being too grainy.

What if, instead of screenshots from serials, the banner just uses images, drawings, paintings, photos of statues of deities, demons, etc?

^^ I was considering that too, but the whole reason behind creating this forum was to have a place to discuss mythological shows, especially after their forums closed, or the mytho shows which never had forums because they're from the previous generation. The majority of discussion in this forum is about shows so I think it would be more apt to have a banner that depicts the popular shows of this forum.

I don't particularly see a problem with adding more characters' faces into the banners. In this banner, we got away with using just nine pics, and all shows were included. Adding two three more won't make it crowded.

And if we're going the logo route, how about just the words "mythological masti" and some religious symbol like the Om? The logos are 125x83 pixels. How can we squeeze in all the images of all the dieties? Most of the tv show forums just have a screenshot of the opening track, which we can't do since we compromise of so many different tv shows.
