He parachuted to the pinnacle of popularity thanks to his character Mihir of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. As the perfect pati he charmed the pallus off millions of saases and bahus for nearly two years. Then he threw it all up to try his hand at the movies but he came back to the small screen in his new avtar as a swashbuckling Municipal Commissioner in Viraasat.
