Anyone would feel bad man, be it girl or a boy... If a person has no qualms in hugging every person in the group except you, one does get offended as ppl take it in a negative way... If the rumours are true then one can't blame Shantannu to have broken up all ties with Sneha.

Its really bad, that their real life relation strain is now affecting Swaron badly...
