Sati is a story about a girl called Sati whose a lawyer and a owner of the all women law firm called "Swayam".
Her past- She was in college when she got gang raped and when she took them to court she lost the case the first time. Her father was completely embarrased and ashamed of her from them on. People would treat her not like a victim but a whore who had simply accused innocent guys. So she went against her families wishes and studied to be a lawyer. In the meanwhile she's kicked out of the house by her dad because she wants to continue her studies. She becomes a lawyer , then has her case re- opened and then wins the case and sends her rapists to jail. Her father has disowned her and wants to have nothing to do with her , and makes his family do the same.
Sati has a younger sis Anu and a younger brother too. Sati's dad can't find any rishta for his daughter Anu and is forcing her to marry an old man. Anu is in love with another guy and is very upset.
Sati's brother hates his dad's attitude towards his sisters and is at present looking for a job.
Satis mom feels completely torn between her husbands wishes and her children but like a goody goody woman sides her husband only.
Swayam Law firm - there are a bunch of girls working for her who are very sweet. I am not too familiar with their names yet. They most go for cases where the woman has been wronged.
Rajdeep- He's a TV journalist and Sati's friend. He helps Swayam in many cases. He also has feelings for Sati but hasn't told her yet.
The hero has just entered the picture, Siddarth ( the guy from Kareena Kareena...i don't know his name). He is a lawyer who has worked in the U.S and now has come to India. He takes one look at Sati and falls for her. Initially he fights a few cases opposite Sati ( and looses 😆). Now he's just wooing her.
Every weak or so they have a new case. Sati just won a gang rape case and a new one is yet to start.

In a car accident Sati's mother gets amnesia and she forgets past 10 years of her life and still believes her children are school going and very young. She can't understand why Sati hasn't come to see her as she is unwell. Her husband tells her that she has lost her memory and the children are all grown up. He decides not to tell the facts about Sati , her rape and his disowning her. Sati's mother keeps craving for Sati and thus her husband goes to Sati and arrogantly requests her to come and live in the house temporarily untill his wife regains her memory. Sati is very sad but she takes this opportunity to be with her family. Her siblings are thrilled to have her back.
Sati gets a new case, there is a case about a mother who kidnaps her own children from her divorced husband. The children were meant to be in the fathers custody , but apparently she informs Sati that the man is a druggy and the children aren't safe with the father. Sati decides to fight this custody and kidnapping case. The prosecuting lawyer happens to be Siddarth again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She wins this case again. Siddarth continues to woo her. Sati's mother feels very proud of her as she is happy that she won the case in the mothers favour. Her father remains the arrogant, angry , pathetic person he is !!🤢
Sati has taken up a new case where she is fighting for the rights of a girl who commited suicide as she was being pressurised for dowry.
