Khushi finished overlooking the final preparation for the grand party of Anju, then finally went up to her room to get ready.She opened the door to her room to find it empty except for the peacefully sleeping babies on their cradles.
"Yeh Laad Governor kahan chale gaye aloo aur puri ko akhele chod kar " she muttered looking around when she felt two strong arms hold her waist from behind followed by a wet kiss at her collar bone.
She gasped in surprise but dint have to turn around to see who it was as she could recognise his touch and scent from anywhere.Arnav pressed his lips at the nape of her neck and sucked at the erratically beating pulse.
He loved her response to him.He blew on her ear and nibbled on her ear lobe" Tumhe kya lagta hai? Main Arush aur Arushi ko aisa akhele chodunga?" he bit her lobe softly making her moan.
Khushi stammered "Ar--navji hu-me laga ki aap kahin bahaar chale gaye the "
With a quick ASR move he turned around and held her shoulders "Tumhe lagtha hai ki main aisa kar saktha hoon? " he asked looking into her eyes with a little hurtful look.
Khushi smiled and placed her hand on his cheek "Nahi hum acchi tharah se jaanthe hai ki aap humara aloo aur puri se bohot pyaar karthe hai "
Arnav smiled and placed a light kiss on her nose "Aur usski mamma se bhi " Khushi smiled and blushed lightly.
Arnav then hugged her close and placed a soft kiss on her forehead."I missed you all day " he whispered on her hair.Khushi pulled away and looked at him full of love.She smiled and placed a soft kiss on his lips and whispered "Hum bhi " and hugged him again.
The sound of clock striking 5pm brought them back to earth.They pulled away and smiled at each other.Khushi said "hume thaiyaar hone chahiye "
Arnav smiled and nodded "Yep i know.So Khushi pehle tum thaiyaar ho jao tab tak i'l keep an eye on the kids "
Khushi smiled and nodded "Teek hai Arnavji" Khushi took out a stunning lavender saree from the wardrobe and went to the bathroom for a quick shower.She felt all sweaty from all that jalebi preparation and other work.
The moment Khushi closed the bathroom door behind her ,Arush and Arushi simultaneously stirred from sleep and made noises letting the adults know of their now awake status.
Arnav rolled his eyes and addressed the now wide awake little bundles "Am here am here roh na dhona shuru mat karna " The babies as always gurgled in cooed in reponse.
Arnav smiled and took both of them in his arms and placed them on the bed.Immediately Arushi climbed across on his lap while Arush sat up and started sucking his thumb as always.
Arnav kissed Arushi's soft cheek and fluffled Arush's hair and tried removing Arush's thumb away from his mouth "Hey buddy leave your thumb " The moment Arnav removed it Arush placed it back into his mouth the same instant and glared at his father.
Arnav chuckled "My own soon to be angry young man "Arnav loved spending time with his kids and enjoyed every moment of it like a proud father.He played with them for sometime until he heard the door to the bath room opened and Khushi emerged looking like a total knock out in a lavander saree.
Arnav gazed at her with so much of love and appreciation reflecting in his eyes.Khushi blushed slightly and her face brightened when she spotted her Aloo and Puri smiling at her waving their arms in a gesture for her to lift them up.
"Arey wah humari Aloo aur puri bhi utt gaye " She sat down next to them and immediately both of them climbed up on her lap and Khushi happily hugged and cuddled both of them close to her.
Arnav smiled at his family with complete adoration.He then smirked at Khushi "Waise Khushi you could have tied your saree here why did you get ready in bathroom itself? Room is more spacious and much comfortable "
Khushi pouted "Accha hum acchi tharah se jaanthe hai ki agar humne yahaan aisa kiya toh kya hoga " she looked at him teasingly.
Arnav smirked "Really Khushi? Kya hoga ? mujhe explain karo na " he went close to her and hugged her shoulders.Khushi blushed "Hume aapko explanations dhene ki zaroorath nahi kyunki aap bhi achi tharah jaanthe hai.Ab jayiye Party ke liye dher ho rahe hai.Hum Aloo aur puri ko thaiyaar kar dhenge "
He smiled "Ok since we dont have time iss baar tum bach gayi " he placed a quick kiss on her forehead and went up to get ready.
Khushi smiled then looked back at the kids who were busily playing with each other "Aaj mausam hai suhana party jaane ka hai bahana what the what the what the " she cheerfully sang while she dressed up the kids.
Arush and Arushi ,who are now very familiar with Khushi's song though the lyrics differ according to situations clapped their hands gleefuly enjoying the song along with her.Arushi jumped in her sitting position her arms waving happily encouraging her mamma.
Arnav smiled at them from the mirror and shook his head amused "Great ab Arush aur Arushi bhi bade ho kar yahi ghaana gaane wale hai "
Khushi looked at him and made a playful face "Aap chup rahiye.Aapne dheka humara ghaanase Aloo aur puri ko kitna mazaa aa ra"
Arnav turned and looked the kids and indeed they seem to enjoy his crazy wife's silly song.After all she sang the very same tune as lullaby to them.He chuckled and quickly got ready.
The party began in full swing and Arnav and Khushi looked an adorable couple.Arush looked cute dressed in bright blue t shirt and a sandal shorts while Arushi looked extremely adorable and cute in a baby pink frock and tiny clips adoring her hair.
Anjana the birthday girl looked equally adorable with piggie tails and a bright red frock.She smiled happily and bounced off here and there clearly enjoying all the attention she's getting on her big day.
Arnav gave her a cute bracelet which had little fishes interwined in links as his birthday gift.Khushi gave her a very big teddy bear almost the size of anjana which brought a big wide smile on Anju's face than her mama's bracelt.Khushi looked at Arnav and smirked proudly.
She beamed proudly "Dekha aapne Anju ko humari dhiye huye teddy bear zyada pasand aaya "
Arnav would have argued with her had he not noticed Arushi smudging his fingers with cake from one of the plate left carelessly.Arnav's eyes widened but before he could run towards her and retrieve it Arushi placed her little chubby hands fully on the cake plate and patted it gleefuly.
Khushi saw what Arushi is upto little late and Arushi happily clapped her hands smearing cake cream everywhere.Anjali spotted the whole commotion and laughed.
Arnav took Arushi away from the pastry plate making Arushi to whine and complain tearfully.
Arush on the other hand watched the entire commotion sitting on the lap of nani.NK laughed and snapped away pics not wanting to miss one moment of Arushi's playfullness.
Arnav glared at Khushi "Khushi tumhe Arushi par nazar rakhna chahiye tha "
Khushi looked at him annoyed "Accha toh yeh humari galti hai.Aap bhi puri ki papa hai aur aapko bhi uss par nazar rakna chahiye"
NK chuckled "Ok ok Nannav mera bhai aur Khushiji phir se nagda?, aap dhono ab love birds ki jage fighter cocks math bano.Now smile pls " with that he clicked the still glaring at each other Arnav and Khushi.They dint bother correcting NK this time.
Finally NK went to take some more pics of Arush who was playing nani's fingers trying to put those into his mouth as well making nani laugh.
"Look here mere Junior nannav.Chachu ki tharaf dekho aur acche se smile dho " NK cooed sweetly to Arush.Arush gurgled and as if he understood NK's words smiled at him showing his little teeth.
"Ha tum smile karthe huye bilkul Khushiji ki tharah lagthe ho " Nk chuckled and smiled at Khushi who was smiling brightly at NK's compliment while Arnav rolled his eyes.
