correction: she was forced to lie the first time! she chose to lie the second time, and she deliberately lied the third time!
She is not a 5 year old kid whom shobha could convince easily. Its her fault if she got convinced by shobha!
Mumbai was even more shocking. She deliberately lied to Yash when her friend mentioned Prashant ( well, hid the truth), and then fled from there, and still didn't feel the need to come out clean with Yash!
so do I feel sad for her about the lie? NO! She needs to repent for cheating not only Yash, but the entire family!
Do I pity Yash because he doesn't yet realize he is in love with Aarti? NO! Because I understand what he is going through!
But I am furious with him because of his accusations to Aarti. He needs to repent big time for it!
As far as suffering is concerned, its strange that most people can see that aarti has faced a lot, but Yash's grief goes unnoticed. Losing a wife whom he loved more than his life seems nothing!😕He is expected to not feel guilty about having a physical relation with his second wife, for whom he just has started to have sm feelings! Do not misread me that I am defending Him, No, I am not. I already have said that his accusations to aarti were abominable, and he needs to repent big time, but only for accusing aarti wrongly and treating her that way, and not for feeling uily himself! He has every right to feel guilty, feel as if he has cheated arpita!
Why can't we be unbiased towards both characters, and say that they both have faced a lot in life, and they both have made terrible mistakes, but both have inherent goodness in them!
P.S.: I would have agreed with all points in ur post if u had not mentioned about the lie and said that there also, she had been forced, and thus implied that it wasn't her fault! Because it was! It was her fault totally! Not during the wedding, but on the occasions afterwards! Worst is she never feels any guilt for it, except the times when she feels Yash has discoovered it! Thats even worse! If we expect Yash to repent, we should be fair and expect aarti to repent for lying as well!
