Yesterday I was watching the repeat telecast with my aunt.She does not know anything about this show.When Arnav said,"I am sorry,Mein Janta Hoon Tumhe Shadi Se Pehle Yeh Saab..."
She asked me,"Why the heck is that girl wearing Sindoor if she is not married"
Then a thought cross my mind.Was this intimacy pre-marital or post marital.
What does Khushi think she is?A married woman or an unmarried.There is nothing called half married.Either you are married or you are not.Yes she considers Arnav as her husband mentally but mental marriage is not accepted in our society.Unmarried women,widow,divorced women can not put on sindoor and Mangalsutra.So why she is seen sporting them?
And what about the society and their family.What does Buaji,Garima,Naniji,Anjali think of them.If according to Dadi their marriage is invalid then a traditional woman like Buaji would have asked them to immediately marry without going through pre-wedding rituals.Nobody will want their daughter to be treated as someone who had a live-in relationship.But here Buaji,Naniji,Anjali no one seems to have any problem with ArShi's relationship.
And what about the society.What do he guests think while attending their pre-wedding functions.Do they feel that this couple was previously in a live-in relationship.Now they are getting married.But the Gupta neighbors are too conservative to accept this without any fuss.
