RK gently puts madhu on the bed n tells her the doctor will be here soon, madhu looks at him n smiles a sweet smile n says "thank you for helping me", he looks at " biwi i told you, you are my 30 lac kilona i have my investment to protect", madhu looks at n says" 40 lac" he looks at his sherni he takes a deep breath, n just as he is about to say something bittuji arrive" cheif doctor is here", Rk sits down on the chair next to madhus bed, Doctor examines madhu leg, Rk stares at the doctor a deep stare, the doctor looks at RK n say,'' sir your wife will have to have stitches n a injection". Madhu looks at the doctor n says "no stitches no injection", Rk looks at madhu, "Biwi your life is mine, you can die in your next life, i have to have you healthy at all cost", the doctor takes out the injection, madhu gets frantic, RK stands up n goes n sits next to her on the bed, he looks at the doctor n nods, he then looks at madhu n in the background the song plays "tera ishq pe...", madhu looks back at him n does not notice the doctor about to inject her she winces n grabs rks shirt, n he looks at her hand, then at her face she has her eyes tightly shut, once the doctor finishes " mrs kundra the dressing has to be changed everyday n the stitches will disolve, i am prescribing you a cream and painkillers to be put on twice a day" Rk looks at the doctor n says" i will look after my wife" the doctor smiles" "Mr RK plse dont let your wife walk around too much as the wound is deep" Rk nods his head, madhu who is looking at RK n thinks this is what ma said she had raised a heera n smiles.
Rk looks at madhu she is still holding his shirt n dipili walks in, "Madhubala i have shifted all your clothes to Rks room as i will be sleeping her", "you see sikandar snores so we dont sleep together", Rk looks at her in disgust, "Madhu you shall come into my room" he says, he lifts her up n takes her out of the room looking at Dipali in disgust.
In Rk room " Rk i cannot sleep her" he looks at madhu" dont worry biwi i will sleep on couch you will sleep on bed". Madhu looks at him, "Rk u have to work tomorrow it will be uncomfortable", "biwi biwi you have taken thrown away all my drinks i will not be able to sleep i will play my games all night", "But RK as madhu tries to get up she winces again in pain, Rk comes over to her" n sits next to the bed "biwi you need to sleep" madhu tries to protest then Rk says" i will sit next to you until you go to sleep biwi this is a order otherwise i will add interest to the 40 lac" Madhu looks at him deeply, she tries to get comfortable her leg was paining her, finally she got comfortable n her eyes closed, Rk looked at her sleeping she looked beautiful then she turned n had her hand on his hand, he did not want to move as she finally was in deep sleep, he rested his head on the headboard n closes his eyes.
In the morning madhu wakes up n sees RK sleeping next to her, she looks at him n remembers what he said how the drinking makes him get to the next day, then she sees his hand holding hers, she does not move, theirs a knock at the door, bittu ji walks in n is about to say something but madhu puts her finger to her mouth n shakes her head, Bittu looks at RK sleeping n smiles, then radha comes up n smiles but does not say anything, Bittu turns round n walks out of the room closing the door.
Outside Radha says to bittu, " i was right rishab needs madhu" Bittu agrees

I was surprised RK didn't blast the doctor for touching his biwi. Very nicely written though.

Really sweet OS Suk, I'm a bit sad that this is not a short story at least until madhu is on her feet again, after all the doctor said she needs her bandages changed and ointment applied daily, perhaps if it was a SS, RK would stop anyone else doing this seva and he does it instead for his wife.

I noticed some Gohem moments which were heartwarming, doctor's visit and sleeping holding the hand, at least in your story madhu didn't slap RK when the injection went in...😆

lol forgotten about gohem already n your right thank god madhu does not slap him lol, i will do a ff soon or ss soon but family comes first these day if has taken the back seat, i only come on when madhubala is on n bv n then late in evenings
