Akashdeep Saigal is back after a short break to play a role that is nothing like Ansh, Akashdeep is back as the righteous Eklavya, part of the next generation in Kyunki...
He sorts out the problems amongst his cousins, he tries bringing them together, he is close to Archita (Mohini and Harsh's daughter), he is protective about Mayank... Eklavya is the man with the next generation, he is the elder brother in the family.
In the Viraani gen-next, where everyone has their own priorities, Eklavya is completely into Puja Paath and to add to this he will be introduced in the episode with Ganesh idol sthapna in Shantiniketan.
So here is the man behind Ansh and Eklavya - Akashdeep Saigal who is sharing with us what it feels like to play both the evil father and his almost holy son, here on indya.com.
How is it to play Ansh's son, how much preparation went into the development of this character… The look, the way he presents himself...
Eklavya is a goody, he has really short hair and his attitude is very and totally different from what Ansh's was. The only similarity between the two characters is the blue eyes and the resembling face… Those happen to be the only thing that he inherited from his bad dad.
You took off to direct the movie that you once called 'Lotus Dreams' when will this dream realise?
Very soon, most probably in the end of the year. We are calling the movie: Ehsaas - Key To Life.
Let us about the characterization of Ekalavya?
Eklavya is a positive character, he is similar in few ways to what Karan is, he is virtuous, god loving, caring. He is a dynamic guy. Though the Viraanis are reminded of Ansh and his negativity, he is totally different.
How does it feel being part of Kyunki... again?
It's only been two days now, will take a little longer to answer that!
Which of the two characters do you enjoy playing, who do you relate to more - Ansh or Eklavya?
I obviously relate more to Eklavya… Everybody would, but I must say playing Ansh was more fun!
