"Once I read this French magazine which had a picture of Elizabeth Hurley with my name against it. The article said that I was designing Liz Hurley's wedding dress. Subsequently, I was also linked to Arun Nayyar just because he attended one of my shows."

"The weirdest rumour I have heard about myself was that I'm dead. My husband was flooded with calls. My family freaked out because my mobile phone had no network for two hours that same day."

"When I was about 17, during my modelling days, there was this actor who had hired a PR company to upgrade his image. One of the magazines quoted him saying that I was completely drunk holding a cigarette in one hand and falling over him. "This happened a few years ago. I was suffering from meningitis and was admitted to the hospital for 21 days. Soon after, a leading newspaper and a gossip magazine carried the story that I had taken Tic 20 and sleeping tablets and had attempted suicide! I was shocked to hear that. The fact was when I took ill on the sets a senior journalist accompanied me to the hospital. She later wrote in her magazine the blow by blow account of what really happened.
