Jai's weak...Bani's a martyr..Aghhhhh!

Afternoon all!😉

I've just had a brief read of MT's post regarding Jai's weakness not being Bani's fault.

And indeed this is right.

Each to their own, I say. If I am stupid (and I dont think I am 😕, am I?😆) that's hardly your fault, is it?

But IF I AM, then I blame watching KS.

Recently, I have been getting exeptionally bored with the way this serial has been developing, nay, dragging.😔

I cant STAND watching our Jai turn into a shadow of his former self and become a wet limpet.

I cant STAND watching Bani do all this headstrong stuff, then promptly cry her eyes out.

Its all so flippin' unreal!👎🏼

Yes, yes I hear you all!😳 - it's just a soap and it's bound to drag at times but pleeease - dont kill the characters in the process!

The only ones to stay true are good old Jigsy and Ranveer! Even Rano, who was beginning to emerge as the steadfast heroine is sapping at the edges and throwing a wobbly with regards to her sis coming back!

The show has simply become unrealistic to the point of hilarity!

Bani's supposedly selfless love bears no hallmark of credibilty whatsoever! Maybe to some of my more romantic KSIF mates this weird love is to be commended but frankly, I'm more of a "call a spade a spade" mentality to which Bani's behaviour just seems stupifying.

To Bani I would say - if the nephew is out to swindle the uncle - tell the Uncle, dear girl!

Is it really realistic to expect us to accept Bani's love of Jai whilst condoning she cant be with him because he mowed down her Mum? No!

Bani mate, you either love him or you dont.

If you do, then you should be with him.

If you hate him for mowing down your Mum - you're justified for having lost that love or at the very least to be confused.

But you cant be IN his face, still maintain you care, but declare you cant ever BE with him - because it's just all too stupid!!!!!!!!!!😡

I'm beginning to understand the attraction of KS for me was the appeal of the gradual change for JnB from a relationship of indifference, respect, hate, back to respect and finally love.

But beyond the blinking Raaz revelation, the story has turned downhill.

KS has lost its electric appeal for me - I can make do without watching it and just flick throught the Forum to get a gist of what's happening. The burning desire to see KS is beginning to desert me...........

If there is anyone out there who can pursuade me otherwise, or indeed feels the same way, I'd love to hear with your suggestions.

the story had the same appeal for me as u stated...bitter sweet love story...but wot i find even more interesting is that first time in the balaji campaign...v finally hv a hero who has a strong mind and a voice to go along..not the normal matajis boy...and one who always listens to the sisters /mothers/vamps nonsense and falls for it..
..when all the rest of the gang is conversing in one world the two doves have a language and a world of their own...
i just soooo sincerely hope they dunn goof up Jais character and for a change from their usual looser heros show him a winner..who doesnt give up on his love and faith and ofourse his MOOLAH ...and i hope they show him doing it in his own unique high handed style..
all the other serials show the heros gladly misunderstanding the situations...the heriones doing dumb act and giving all the usually unecessary sacrifice...
but KS has a different equation...v have a mature but still young Bani who is trying to play mammas knows best to Jai also 😉..where as Jai who is a powerful and mature man has his way of dealing with situations...
wait till he comes to know of Banis sacrifice..i thk he will hv a laff and will hug her so tight she wil choke.. 😉
KS will remain interesting provided they keep this equation and not send Bani to banwas like they did Tulsi and not turn Jai into a crying baby like most of their other heros...

Sure hope you're right there, Notty, and I bow before your better experience of Ekta/Balaji Serials, as this is the first Indian soap I can honestly say ever held my interest!

Here's to the JnB thang!I shall throw off my pessimism and patiently wait to be enthralled!
