So many secrets and so much selfish behavior. I hope Akaash show that fool some sense. It's about time Arnav stop living in the past and salvage what he has left in the present!! It is that very same weakness of his Shyam is preying on. Loved the update...Amazing!!!

Thank you! GOOD GOD, thank you for your observation. I really am glad you got that! I try to avoid responding on the main thread just because its meant for the readers and not for me to pontificate on my own work, like a douchebag, but your comment was so SPOT ON I had to address it!

I've been trying all throughout to focus on the fact that BOTH these characters- Arnav and Khushi, have suffered from the same loss.. and allowed identical losses to affect them in completely opposite ways.

Arnav has had as much support after his loss as Khushi has had. Loving family members, loving siblings, loving elders. Its a function of the mind, and a test of inner strength to decide what to be affected by, and what to let go off. And for me, Khushi is the strong one here---the intensity with which people love her (NK, Payal, even Arnav) is a product of that strength, that inner-goodness and that light.

And Arnav is the opposite of that light, that strength and that goodness. He has a very real capacity for cruelty, for damage and for pain. He is very close to being a fully dark character, and it is just his family, the people who love HIM that have so far stopped him from becoming --- Shyam.

A lot of people ask again and again why I focus on NK, Payal, Anjali and Aakash as much as I do in this story. Its because people, even heroes and heroines in fan fictions, don't exist in a vaccum. The people closest to you inform and shape your behavior, your feelings, the paths you choose. Shyam's back story has still not moved on to covering any evil HE has done, but has focused on why he is who he is, why he becomes evil, why he becomes almost insane--again, because of his mother-his only family.

Thanks for noticing this, because ultimately, given similar circumstances, Arnav's nature has created his current circumstances--what happens to him, how he deal with things, is ultimately a product of his own choices, and his own behavior.

Akash finally snaps. Good, I hope he is able to show Arnav that by letting the past haunt his present, he has scarred Khushi like nothing ever has..

i nvr thot the continuation of last update wud be this n foutcome this.

i nvr expected akash n i nvr expected him ot burst out.arnav's part was doen well.see dear frnd,if we congratulate sanaya n barun for ther amazing acting in a scene,we often forget tht it was scripted by someone.evn wen i rem i think but acting was done by BS.writign cant capture the facial expressions n emotions portrayed by the actors as such.yes,emotions n facial expressions can be caught in writing.but not how barun n sanaya wud portray.it cant be catched in words.

but today i realized it cud be.with ur writing of arnav n his state in this chapter.yes,it was EXCELLENT.also kushi's tears.u etched it so alive.i cud see,not imagine kushi shedding her tears while waiting for her deaprture.i cud see,not imagine arnav n his turmoil completely through ur writing.

Oh.My.God. That was some update.

Napster you are an expert at describing emotions.The pain and despair they are going through is clawing on me too.

Uff what is the way out for them?? Is there one at all??Can Akash help Arnav??Arnav is already broke.Khushi has had enough of trauma already.Akash ,payal,Nk are also caught up in this web of emotional turmoil.

Take a bow Napster,you are simply genius.I have already said this many times but what i love about your story is that every character is so well etched.No one is stereotyped.Every character has their own strengths and weaknesses as humans do.

Now i am waiting for Aakash to have his say.

Akash is back.

I have been sincerely waiting for the dam to burst, since the story took that 360 degree turn... with Arnav doing what he does best. Screw things. Sincerely waiting for you to have mercy on this poor girl, who has been trying to calm her heart with an Aal izz well...

Does this mean that things are finally going to be alright? I hope so. Sincerely hope so.
