For the past two days, Abhay has been extremely touchy feely of Siddhi which I am sure none of us are liking at the moment. We do not know the details of Abhay's past and how he lost his wife and kids and more importantly why Sulekha went to jail. But I think there is more to Abhay's behavior than meets the eye. Since he appointed Kunal, I feel he knows about the estranged marriage of Sinal. There were many in-your-face clues for Abhay to find out and I think he did. His close behavior with Siddhi around Kunal is more to get him jealous and admit that he loves her still. Also, he is trying to unite Siddhi with her family and that is why he personally invited them to the party.
Reasons I feel he knows the truth:
1) He did a background check on Kunal before appointing him and knows he did not work for 9 yrs since his wife left him. He also knows Siddhi has been in jail for 9 yrs.
2) He knows the gold medal is Kunal's and also he knows that Siddhi's husband was also a gold-medalist from the same law collage.
3) He commented on their first day at work that they are fighting like husband and wife.
4) The pani puri stall guy said Kunal and Siddhi often visited his stall all those yrs ago.
5) Abhay told Kunal to look after the arrangements at the 'venue' and told Siddhi to go 'home'. Actually his home was the venue.. then why did he not say so to Sinal? He sent both of them to the same place w/o telling each other.
6) He went and personally invited the Chopras and asked them not to mention it to Kunal.. why is he so interested that they come to the party? He definitely noticed their reactions on seeing Siddhi.
7) He noticed that Kunal and Siddhi were khoya-khoya in yesterday's party.
8) He was forcing her to drink and dance with him which made Kunal extremely possessive of Siddhi and act like a possessed jealous lover.
9) When Kunal pushed him, he did not become aggressive,, infact he told Raj it was ok!! and stayed back!
10) Abhay did raise Anand and loves him more than anybody.. he also helped siddhi get closer to her son and so far is shown as a good friend.
Thinking about all this, I feel Abhay definitely knows about the couple and is on a mission. He might not know about the twins of Siddhi but will know about that soon enough. He will be the one who will help the kids swap places and unite their parents.
Now, meanwhile, Sulekha will start making preparations for Abhay-Siddhi marriage and abhay may fall for Siddhi! He may turn negative due to insecurity of loosing his Anand to Kunal. All these are also possibiities.. but as of now, I think Abhay is playing cupid. Hope I am not wrong this time!!
