Uncanny connection between the Ajay Devgn-Shah Rukh Khan films

Sources indicate that Shah Rukh Khan's film contract reportedly made two things clear: One, the actor will not lock lips with his heroine on screen; two, he will not ride a horse. The second condition came into being after SRK experienced severe back pain a few years ago. On the other hand, Ajay will be seen riding not one but two horses in his Son Of Sardaar.
Some other facts on the SRK-Ajay films that are expected to lock horns this Diwali are: Shah Rukh's friend and business partner Juhi Chawla is one of the leading ladies of SOS. Uday Chopra's ex-girlfriend Tanisha Mukerji is the executive producer on the Ajay film. SRK's close business associate Kishore Lulla has bought the worldwide rights for SOS. Clearly the two projects seem to be interlinked.

Legendary action director Veeru Devgn would never have imagined that his son Ajay would surpass his expectations of a difficult stunt in his upcoming film Son Of Sardaar. Ajay Devgn talks to TOI about his fascination for daredevilry and his love for horses.
On his two-bike stunt in Phool Aur Kante and his two-car stunt in the Golmaal series Riding two bikes or two cars was tough, but easier than horses because at least bikes and cars have human riders who can be asked to ride parallel to each other, unlike horses.
On two horses in Son Of Sardaar Riding horses is the mark of a man. They are the toughest animals to ride. The horses were trained, but it still required a lot of practice to ride two together. Even though the horses were tied, the risk was very high as they were galloping and a great deal of control was required. Sitting on a horse itself is so tough but standing makes it all the more difficult. While I have done a lot of action in my various films, this is the most difficult action scene I have ever done. With this film, we have brought back horses after a long time.

I have always loved horses and bought a horse named Ginger for my daughter when she was four years old. The horse lived at our farm but I was very busy and could not find enough time to visit the farm and so we gave her away.

What action legend Veeru Devgn has to say about his son's two-horse stunt: I remember the first time in Kashmir while shooting Mr Natwarlal when I taught Ajay to sit on a horse. He was only six then. Today I feel proud that while it is tough to ride even one horse, he is standing on two galloping horses, which is a very difficult stunt

To me it seems stupid to do stunts like standing on two bikes or two cars or two horse. Its not the bravest but the most foolish men(or women) who would do that.
