And actually using it are 2 different things

With the guy in the car death (this weekend episode)... She knew she would have to use the gun and a suspect was in front of her...

Didn't see epi 2nd so can't comment on it

Maybe with Arjun she felt he was honest and she wouldn't have to use the gun
