I agree Sandy. CVs have realised a romance between Adi Sugni will not be accepted so they are going for friends angle which will turn into mature love and respect rather than romantic love. I think the new viewer will accept that unfortunately as they do not know how they got here (which is why there is very little flashback to before the Sardhakai. You would expect TVS to have a lot of flashbacks even if Sugni does not)

But to my mind this relationship is also built on a lie - Adi's lie to Sugni (he has not told her that he has given a vachaan to his mama that he will keep her as his amanat but justifying to himself that it does not matter because Sugni does not want to be with his mama AND that the 20 lacs she wishes to repay which is why she said she will stay with him is not his money but his mama's but justifying to himself that he will pay is Mama back)

Also Sugni may not want to be with TVS but his Mama has not made any secret of how much he loves Sugni so that in itself means Adi cannot be relationship with a woman his mama loves - its plain wrong.

Also Sugni will be a relationship with him partly because she will feel guilty that she was responsible for Adi Amu breakup.

BTW Gulabia says to Amu he did it protect Sugni from TVS (other lectuorus thakurs did not matter!!!) but only loves you? So what does she think will happen Adi will marry Amu and Sugni will remain in his life as a friend? She was not prepared to let TVS marry Sugni because he was already married but she thinks Amu's parents will let their daughter marry a man who already has a formal mistress regardless of the fact that their relationship is platonic?? Would she allow that to happen to Sugni????

TVS is no victim. He can't just leave Reva because of Sugni, especially if the only thing Reva is guilty of is loving her husband. He married her. If he falls in love again with someone else, will he then leave Sugni.

If u are not happy with ur wife / husband n he/ she is not proper or u face difficulties then definitely u will consider to divorce and start a fresh life. If for 9 years in marriage if he hasn't fallen in love, he fell in love only after his wife death and he has told 2-3 that if he knew beforehand that reva was alive he would have not even thought of loving sugni so that itself is an answer. If he had married sugni he woudn't have fallen in love with the third person he would have remained with sugni.
