Hey soapy! ... honestly, empty nest is much more difficult than I had imagined 😭 ... have this very hollow feeling when I look at my son's room so spick and span ... it always looked as though a tornado had swept through it! Will take time to get used to the feeling, I guess ... hubby says we have to learn to talk to each other again, on topics not about the kids and college admissions! 😛
Good thing AD is reasonably busy at the moment!

Yeah I can imagine...went through the same things a cpl of years ago...and I have a single child...so there was no easing into the idea with another kid still at home...and it never really gets better...every fall first week of sept brings the same empty feeling (he just left 10 days back after summer at home). Hubby and I had the almost exact conversation with each other...😆🤗
