Asha at Durban(concert update)

heyy guys i found it on fb..this is concert update by a asha negi fan..I thought to share it wid u all as there are many negi fans here in this forum including me...



Concert Update:
The Durban City Hall South Africa, Friday the 7th
September 2012 a night to remember forever.
The night that fans have waited for finally has
come. On a cool and little rainy night did not stop
the fans from filling up. The entrance to the hall
started to fill up as we waited for the doors to
open so we could take our seats. Finally we
entered the hall, full of excitement and
anticipation searching around hoping to catch
glimpses of the stars. The hall decorated so
beautifully and screen projectors to show what
was taking place on stage. The hall filled up and
was time for the show to begin as the lights began
to dim. The show was hosted by the popular and
amazing Varshan Sookhan, the radio jock on Lotus
Fm. The show began with 2 opening
performances by local dance academies that set
the scene for what was a great night. Followed by
their performance was the introduction of the
greatest band ever, The Bollywood Show Band
and they rocked and got the fans adrenaline
pumping. Singer and Sa Re Ga Ma contestant
Imran(cant remember his full name) sang and
entertained the crowd with 4 songs, old and new
including the ever popular and awesome Shirt Da
Button and my friends and I screamed "its purvi
and arjuns song" but don't think anyone heard us.
The crowd was too anxious and couldn't wait
anymore to see the stars take to the stage.
Finally Varshan announced that it was time to
bring out the stars and got the crowd cheering for
them. The first star to take to the stage was Sumit
Vats(Rishi) who soared on stage with the crowds
cheers and screams. He danced to a few songs
and forgive me but I don't remember them. Rishi
rocked the stage. He is absolutely cute and
handsome and the girls were going crazy for him.
His performance really got the crowd going and
they wanted more. After his performance, Varshan then announced the next star was about to take the stage for the first time in South Africa and the crowd had to cheer her on. No guesses who this was as the excitement started to get to me and everyone screamed "PURVI". The lights were off and the hall filled with sound of the incredible sound track the pavitra rishta theme song. Joy, excitement and love for my favourite show filled me up and smiling and screaming to see Asha enter the hall from the back and make her way to the stage with the pavitra theme song in the background. She waved to her fans and blew them kisses and made her way on stage. She greeted us all with a huge smile and her hands folded in thank you and bowed to us and took her place on stage. Dressed up in a red and dark blue Punjabi, she set the stage alight with her opening dance to one of our favourites Saibo as well the song Shirt da button and we all smiled as we remembered the scenes from pavitra rishta with arjun and purvi together with this song. There was another song but cant remember the name but she also very cutely performed to the song Ye Ishq Hai from Jab we met. She dazzled and blew us all away with her solo performance and it was mind blowing, really wish she staged on the stage the whole night. She bowed out as the crowd screamed and cheered for her.The announc ment of the duets were to follow with Sumit and Asha pairing up to dance to a few romantic songs. It wasn't the same chemistry as she and rithvik has and we all wished he was there but ash and sumit really rocked with an opening song to Ek mein aur ek tu the old version, then our favourite Tum Jo Aaye which really was sweet, as well as Tu Hi mera and finally rocked to the song Tu Mera Hero. Their performance was really cute and wonderful. They both left the stage but was summoned back to talk to us. They came back on stage and was welcomed with cheers and screams as they greeted us with waves and smiles with Sumit screaming "I LOVE YOU ALL". He had thanked the crowd for the warm welcome and support and said it was wonderful being here in Durban and he loves us all. Asha then had the microphone and was asked that its her first time in south Africa and how does she feel. She had said that it is her first time her in south Africa and Durban is fantastic and so are her fans whom she loves ever so much. She said she is very excited to be here and she has heard alot about south Africa and especially from her friend Rithvik/Arjun and says that her other friends Punni and Ovi were thrilled that she was going to be in south Africa. She is really close to Jia, Shruti and Rithvik and it shows as she spoke about them. They really have a great friendship off screen and work well together. she got really exccited as she spoke about it and Sumit told her to calm down because she was talking so fast with excitement lol and she laughed along with us also. It was so cute. She also said agn how much she loved her fans and being here and thanked us all. Varshan then asked her the question that was on everyones mind, Whats going on in Pavitra Rishta and with her and arjun? The crowd screamed "YEEESSS". She said yes arjun and purvi have separated, how and why she cant say because its apart of the show but she says that "Purvi and Arjun are one and will always remain one and no matter what like ovi or punni, whoever cant separate them" (Asha Negi, DCH, 7 September 2012) This is a direct quote of what she said and remember guys that she said this before in her article which was before the ovi/arjun marriage and she says this now after the marriage so alot of hope and belief that our ArVi will be together, we just have to be patient and not give up. Rishi spoke a little of hitler didi and they both thanked the crowd again and left the stage.After the show, my friends and I were reflecting on the show and a friend of mine took me inside hoping to get me to meet Asha and to my luck I did get to met her very briefly but it was truly incredible. Seeing her up close and being there next to her was just too amazing. She is absolutely beautiful, really stunning and so full of life and energy. She truly has an amazing personality and a smile to match. She is so simple and so humble with so much love in her heart. She is so much like her character Purvi. She is too amazing for words and it truly was a dream come true to meet her. Asha Negi is truly the sweetheart of television and the love I had for her has increased more and more.

😊😊😊😊😊Asha is truly a sweetheart that's why she has captured everyones heart I just love her so much and reading this post has made me so happy im dying to see arvi back together although I want purvi to prove her love for Arjun and not just get him easily because although I love purvi she was unfair on Arjun and should show him how much he matters to her but yayyy!!!! So happy arvi will unite and I won't have to bear ovi with Arjun.

and yeah m jealous of him too coz he got to meet our beautiful asha...

hey thanx for sharing sharing this info...no doubt asha is such a sweet person and full of life...awww she talked about ARVI...really happy that ARVI will be together hope it happens soon...SA people r very lucky who saw her live and met with her...its like a dream come true for them...love ASHVIK...again thanx for sharing...:):):)
