| My father is a government employee -- he works in the telephone exchange. My mother is a housewife. What made you participate in Indian Idol? I saw the ads on television. My friends were taking part and asked me if I would join too. I was not sure because I thought Indian Idol was not a show for singers. They wanted a good performer, dancer and singer. I can perform as a singer, but not as an actor. So I told my friends I would accompany them for the auditions but would not sing. But when I went, I thought I'd give it a try. I got selected. |
