I just saw the episode. This was both hilarious and tragic @ the same time - didn't know whether to laugh or cry 😆😭 Kanchi was pretty much groveling to him, but he was pretty much stunned to see Lakshmi's appearance in front of him 😲 He wasn't angry @ her, just shocked, and left for that reason, but she concluded that he's pissed @ her and unforgiving

My guess - Kanchi may @ some point in time see Jiyana's neck-chain w/ Arjun's & her (actually, Lakshmi's) pics on either side, and think that the family is mocking her. And she'll again heap a barrage of abuse on the poor grieving widower, to pile on the cycle thief & samosa thief incidents. I don't blame Arjun for wanting to leave the country, although isn't it over-reacting a bit? I mean, he could move to Delhi, Pune, Goa, any number of other metro cities in India itself (assuming that his job is not an issue).
