For me Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon was never about contract marriage or remarriage .
It was just about love love love where on completing a journey the show wud one fine day show them getting Married and then a new journey of love wud begin. Marriage would just be an glorious event for them not a plot to carry hate (as in contarct marriage) or to make disastrous accidents( as in remarriage). No need of contract or remarriage .We would have preferred just one time marriage in the show but only after their love equation has been very well utilised to maximum... to show lovers track as in the feb episodes.
The focus was never on how husband-wife deal with their life after Marriage. Because such shows are plenty in all channels. Discovering Love after marriage is what saas-bahu serials start off with and then continue. The pyaar word in IPKKND has gone missing. better we omit that pyaar word and just call iss ko kya naam doon?? IKKND.
Trying gimmicks have proved dangerous to them. Ok tell me guys are we playing hide n seek game.?? when people say that Cv's are always doing things to suprise us. They wanna do diffrent thing not same as others.
My answer is- its not a Vikram bhatt suspense thriller. I want a predictable track . no problem, becase the the serial is on Love intensified emotions. The extremes one can go in love. There is no space for other nonsense stuff only. Thre is no question of guessing with excitement what will happen next because the genre of the show is love not a thriller.
If they wanted to do sensationalism let them experiment with manorama-payal relation. That cud atleast give them better response from housewives rather than trying this crime thriller suspense. I welcome a predictable track
where things after kidnap wud be normal to reach to a happy arshi union.
My only issue to ipkknd is that - u wanna show daljeet-shyam track..plz show , go ahead no problem, But why did u skip redemption for that?? why didnt u potray khushi's distress and its proper healing n solution?? and the biggest demand- why didnt u show arnav turning to a true lover?? was kidnap i love u sufficient, the ILU dammit sufficient, the Hugs sufficient, Blackmail phase, helping monetarily the Guptas...then jalebis, poster, channas
are these sufficient to show express his love to khushi??are thesw so sufficient that khushi can give her agreement for remarriage and forget the contract thing,??
My only demand was that we can see love after marriage any time but love before marriage has been skipped. Arnav realising that he loves khushi and cant think of leaving separate from her didnt come across not even in a single scene properly. It didnt come across because he new he wud win her as he was blackmailing .
I didnt see any single scene after kidnap till now where he can feel the fear of losing her.
He achieved khushi forcefully not gain her naturally.
For me there is not a single general scene shot till now that showcases arnav showcasing his genuine feelings for khushi. He is always shown desperate to kiss her and to hug her. Why???
If they think romance will be kept after marriage then no need to call it mills n boons inspired love story. No general scenes where khushi rests her head on his shoulders and arnav tells her how his life wud be a tragedy without her. No simple discussion scenes. They meet only to smirk, hug thats it. For me they didnt express their love to each other till now.and they have jumped to remarriage. and will show problems in family. Ridiculous.
I want predictable track- love confession, romancing, dating, coziness, naughtiness and then grand marriage. but just 1 marriage. not a contract marriage and then another re marriage.
Plz stop calling it a star crossed love drama. Its a kitchen politics mixed with 80's film industry's masala formula
The biggest blunder was when arnav tells di he fell in love after contract marriage. that very statement goes against the theme and the base of the show. It is completely against the show.
So rima u have very beautifully written the points👏.
There is no way out to save this blundersome experiment to explode badly in TRP charts.
