Thank you for the post. To me this show is not a purely dance show. So the way I look at a contestant is as an entire package: dance+popularity+attitude.
In the initial phase of the show there were 3 contestants who I thought would go all the way to the top and they were Isha, Shibani and Gurmeet. And each of them had different percentages of the factors (dance+popularity+attitude) that I used to evaluate them. Out of the 3, I thought Shibani was the one that showed the most progression in all 3 factors. It is a pity that she got eliminated but I would hate to blame her exit on either of the two contestants who have been blamed willy nilly on this forum.
If there was to be a blame it is on the channel by bringing in the wild card entries. Reshmi and Ritvik are such a pleasure to watch but it has been very unfair that they have been on the dance floors for just half the time the others have been on the dance floor. It takes a lot of endurance and stamina to churn out dances week after week. Reshmi and Ritvik and all the wild card entries have an advantage of being more fresh than the others and these two dancers should have been treasured for another season. I really do like Reshmi's dancing but I do hope that it is the dancers who have been on the floors since day one of the show that gets the 1st and 2nd position. So in that respect, NO my opinion hasn't changed since the start of the show. Shibani has left but the dancers who I wanted to go into the top 2 still remains the same and they are still out there fighting it out with everything they have got.
