I had to make this post today. From our childhood we have been taught that - "Good is rewarded and Evil is punished". Infact we have grown up with this thought that in the end Evil is always punished.
But is it always true?😳
1. I'm a Hindu by religion, and Ramayana is our sacred book. We all know that Rama defeated Ravana and won back Sita. So Ravana the Evil was punished. What we tend to forget is, the evil washerman for which Rama sent Sita to exile...was he punished enough? And what happened to Sita after years of hardships and trouble...she ultimately sacrificed her life. So was Good rewarded?😳
2. Mahabharata, another of our Holy books. Yes, in the battle of Kurukshetra, the Kauravas lost and the Pandavas won. But what price did they pay for it. They lost all their children...starting from Abhimanyu, to Ghatotkach...to the five sons of Draupadi. So evil may have been punished, but was Good rewarded?😳
3. Forget Satyayug and Dwaparyug...and come to Kaliyug...nowadays is evil really punished and Good really rewarded? The corrupt and tainted politicians are a glaring example. I need not say more?😳
4. Coming to our own IPKKND, till date Evil has not been punished and Good has not been rewarded. If we see instances from the serial things will be clear. Shyam has always got away with everything and Khushi has been the punching bag. Anjali has lost her child, she'll not get it back. She's a Good , God fearing lady. Was this her reward?
What I fear now is that probably Shyam the Evil will be punished for his misdeeds...but will Khushi the Good be ever rewarded?
And guys if a GOOD is not rewarded, does it make sense whether the Evil is punished or not?
Sorry, for this long posts. But these are certain questions which keep bothering me. The real and reel life are not much different you see.😳
