"Di" Anjali looked up at Aakash's voice

"Di Khushi ne yeh sub kyun kia? Aisa kya kaha bhai ne uss se joh usse yeh ….."

"Haan Di …. Aap ko yaad hai woh injection se kitna darti thi, toh phir khud ko knife ke saath ….." NK sat beside her while Anjali closed her eyes as she knew very well the fright of Khushi from injections and needles and today she did it to end her life

"Cho …. Chotte … au …. Aur …. Khushi … ki …. Sha … shadi …. Hui … thi …." The news was a blast for both of them, they glared each other in an unbelievable expression

"Sha … shadi … kaise … Di … Bhai aur Khushi toh ….." Aakash was the first to compose himself

"Maa Papa ne Khushi ko adopt kia tha … phir jub Maa hospital mein thi toh unhon ne Chotte se promise liya tha ke woh ….." Anjali told them and they could very well understand now Khushi's state of mind

"Main aap ki behan nahi hoon na iss liye aap mujhe nahi le ke ja rahe, Anjali Di hoti toh unn ko na nahi kehte na aap" Now he could relate it as what she meant and why she said it

"Khushi theek hogi na" There was more than fear in her voice and they both assured her though they themselves are not sure

He could clearly see her lips moving and without even listening to it he knew she was calling his name. Hesitantly he sat on the bed and slowly held her hand into his.

"Hum aap ke liye cake le ker aaien" He remembered how she asked him holding his hand. Will she ever hold him comfortably as she did before, the answer was a clear No

"Khushi what you want to become in future?" It was just two years back, NK asked her when they were playing truth and dare

"Designer" She replied without any delay and he who was busy in sketching some designs looked up at her, she was also looking at him. The shine she had at that time in her eyes when she said it just grew his anger

"Yeah you like to always copy the people around" He could see her smile faded away as he said and she did not give an answer and kept quiet

"Khu …. Kh …" He was about to pull his hand back when he felt her grip on his hand

"Arnav Bhiya I've made this soup for you, daikhna how your temperature will go in a minute" He was soaked himself in rain yesterday night and now he was suffering with a high grade fever

"Khushi just get out from here" He wanted to say but he was just too feeble to say he only moved his lips through which what she understood that he need something

"Don't worry You'll be all ok very soon" She said siiting near him on the bed holding his hand

He closed his eyes tightly as to erase all the memories which were just now flooding his head.

"Ar .. naav …." He opened his eyes at her voice. Diffidently he placed his hand on her forehead

"Do ….. don't worry … Khu …. Khushi …. Everything will be fine" Finally he managed himself to speak these words

Only he knew what he was going through at the moment. Saying these words to a person whom you never liked and you have to sympathize with her to save her life, it was all the more difficult for him. He still consider him to right in hating her as if she did not come in their lives everyone can live in peace. But he could only think about all this, he has seen the consequences of blurting out the truth and now he should be careful not to hurt her, not for him, not for Khushi but for his Di

He came out of the ICU. "Di" Anjali rushed towards him

"Chotte Khushi theek hai na"

"Haan Di woh theek ho jaaye gi" He said embracing her and comforting her

"Di …. Aap auri Chachi Aakash aur NK ke saath ghar jaaien … main hoon yahan pe" He asked and gestured Aakash to take her with him who shook his head

"Bhai theek keh rahe hain Di, hum subah mein aa jaien ge waise bhi ICU mein toh koi aik hi ruk sakta hai na" Anjali though not wanted to go back but then agreed for the sake of her brothers

"Theek hai chotte per please … please Khushi se kuch ghalat mat kehna" She pleaded and he could understand where she is pointing to

"Ok Di" He assured her and after they left he again went into ICU

He could not believe it. Such a big truth was hidden for so many years and his wife never shared anything about it. This Arnav Singh Raizada always has a step ahead from him and now too. Arnav and Khushi were married for 12 years and nobody get to know about it

"Just stay away from her, I'm warning you" His furious voice echoed in his head

"Ab main bataoon ga tumhain Arnav ke Saali aadhi ghar wali ka kya matlab hai" He said to himself and smiled evilly

He was watching her from an hour and it was for the first time he noticed how innocent she is.

"She is too young to handle all this" He fisted and closed his eyes as he think about it, "No, no Arnav you hate her and you should hate her after what she did to you" His mind gave him reasoning

"Really, what she did?" It was like a part of him was pinching him for hurting her and to point out that very part he was afraid, he wants to keep his back to the reality

"She …. She entered in our lives, she ruined my whole childhood … and now it was because of her Di slapped me that too twice" His mind seemed to working illogically. His thumping part of his body laughed at it

"Really …… You know what you are a coward who don't want to admit the fact that you care for her …."

"No I don't care for her"

"You do … why you came back then"

"It was for Di"

"For Di" it laughed again

"You did it for her"

"JUST SHUTUP" He shouted and opened his eyes only to found himself sitting in front of her. His hands moved to his cheeks and what ….. he was crying ….. unbelievable

"No Khushi tumhain jana hoga hum sub ki zindagi se jana hoga" Next thing he was not intending to do but it was done by him and he was surprised at him for doing it

Her mind has been stopped at the particular picture, the hatred in his eyes for her. She don't want to think anything else. The only thing in her mind was that she should not be in this world. Suddenly she felt a warmth on her hand. It held her for some time and when she felt the warmth was going away she held it in fear she might lose this only thing, then she heard a voice in her subconscious.

"Do ….. don't worry … Khu …. Khushi …. Everything will be fine" The stammering voice, she could recognize it in millions, he was here for her and he was assuring her to everything will be ok. It reminded her how she once take care of him in his fever

The warmth went away and she felt herself again in to the same darkness. Her mind was again thinking all negative things and all the memories of her good time spent in Raizada house flashed in her head. It seemed that Death was calling her and she felt her legs being feeble. She tried to move her hands but she could not!

She felt the same warmth now on her forehead and ostensibly she felt all her energies to be back. She get another chance and she has to avail the chance. Someone has just brought her to life fighting against her death. She could feel the warm breath on her face

She tried to move her hands once again and this time she succeeded to move it.

He pressed his lips on her forehead and kissed it lightly, "Please Khushi come back" He mumbled and slightly lifted his head. Few moments have been passed, he felt the movement in her eye lids and then her hand moved a bit. He immediately called the doctor. Doctor checked her and turned to him

"She is responding now, well for now she is just sleeping because of injections, subah tak inhain hosh aa jaaye ga" Doctor patted his shoulder and left while he was looking at her face

"You have to go away Khushi, agar tum nahi gayee toh mujhe khud ko tum se door kerna hoga, Kyun ke tumhain daikh ke mujhe baar baar meri ghalti yaad aaye gi, woh ghalti joh shayad Mom Dad ko nahi kerni chahiye thi ya phir mujhe na kehni chahiye thi …. Such tumhain itni takleef kabhi na daita agar ha …. Hamari shadi na hui hoti" The thing he don't know is that Fate is pre written and you cannot change it but with the strong prayers and unfortunately he don't have any such prayer

Surprise!!

well I got time today so write up the update, it is a connected part to the previous one so I let it be as Part B of the previous part

and yeah don't expect next update this soon!! 😆

Now I want to thank all the people who have read the previous part and commented on it!! One thing I need to clear is that Don't get Arnav wrong, he is right in his thinking as he from the very first day made up his mind not to get close to Khushi, he named this disliking by the time being as hate. One more thing don't be happy to see Arnav caring for Khushi, it is for this update only or maybe the next one then he'll be back to his ASR attitude 😉
