This seems to the main story or at least a message given to us viewers about all the women in this show...

From Paddy, to Trishna, to Madhu and now to Radha every single characters are misunderstood and judged by various men in the show without knowing their reasons and/or their struggles.

It is so easy to look at the person for what they are but don't know what led them to this stage...why they made certain decisions because they wanted to? No! because they all wanted to do what was best for others even if it meant sacrificing themselves...

Padmani- escaped from a brutal, selfish, a murder, her so called husband (if he even deserves to be called a husband) came to a new city with one unborn child and one young daughter hoping to start her life new again and maybe get all the happiness she deserved. She didn't care about her unborn child or her life being in danger...all she wanted was a secure future for both of her kids...

She watched her kids grow up in happiness and prayed that they get all their dreams come true..she didn't let her past interfere with Trishna and Mahdubala...especially Trishna..she gave her so much love that Trishna forgot what happened in her childhood, forgot what kind of a cruel father she had and especially forgot the struggles Padmini went through for her...

Everyone misunderstood Padmini and her "character" for living under one roof with a "strange" man whom she has no relation with. Why do always women have to justify themselves for their actions? Even Sita was one misunderstood by Ram after she spent years with Ravan under one roof...Even Ram was not able to see the purity and sincerity of Sita's love. It was so easy to accuse Sita for being a cheater and even after proving herself to Ram by waking on the hot coals it was sitll not good enough...Why can't they see the pure side of her relation with Malik? Her struggles? Her life story? Like everyone else, it had pained me to see RK brutally tarnish Padmini's character. Padmini to me is like Sita who escaped from Ravan's trap only to be helped by Malik...

Trishna--Okay I know many of you guys think that she is selfish for not understanding Madhu's plight but can you really blame her? She comes across as selfish and uncarring toward others feelings...Ever since she was little all she ever dreamed about was becoming an actress...she saw the wonderful life of the rich...she grew up watching them on the sets and in the movies...it hurts to see your one and only dream snatch away in matter of seconds and days. Right now she is feeling insecure watching her (step) mom think only about Madhu and her sacrifice...Padmini is not thinking about Trishna and what she might be going through...what will Trishna do now? Acting was the only thing she knew how to do... hopefully later on we see some better side of Trishna maybe as an understanding and (finally) acting like an older sister...It would really suck if the writers decides to turn her character evil and join hands with Balraj...waste of time...

Madhu-forced to live in a hell with her very own devil...she has no where to go and even if she tries to escape at the end she knows she has no other choice but to come back to her devil oopppss i meant RK...Trishna hates her, for now (I hope) Padmini is helpless and can't help her at all until she pays back all the money to RK...her love for others forced her to make a sacrifice of herself...of course it was expected after all our Madhu has a heart of gold...but still every step of the way she is being ridiculed...she has no one that she can call her own...her only savior is in the hospital fighting for his life...Her image, her reputation her so called love Makund left her for mere rumors...hmm I am not even going to go in details about Mukund will make my blood boil...At the end I know she will become victories...so no worries there for her

Radha-RK's mom...whom I feel really bad for...the poor women made one choice, for the betterment of her child, which backfired on her...She became a widow and had a 12 year old son to take care of...I am assuming it was sometime in the 90's back then it was hard for single mom's to do anything especially widows...back then women were depended on men, to some degree...she decided to get married again so that RK grows up to have a father and a whole family that he once used to have...can anyone really blame her? Now, the choice she made was obviously a wrong one..she couldn't get a good husband who could possibly understand her, who would be that "father" figure in her son's life..instead she is doomed from both sides...Her son hates her, her husband clearly has no respect for her and well her step-son is a total looser...who has no voice of his own...her only hope is Madhu...

At the end, the only thing i like is that all the women, no matter what their situations or their life stories may be, they are always sticking together...I hope one day they all come together and really change the thinking of some men...

P.S. sorry if this topic has been created before 😳

good analysis mrs. msk!

fundamentally, i feel that many shows are misogynistic. and it is not necessary that only men are misogynistic, women are too! in many shows it is a sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, etc., who are misogynistic towards other women in their household.

sad and depressing and unbelievably horrific. forced marriages, humiliation, and torture of women are shown. i wonder how our tv shows have come to this!
