1) Goons - Loved the first scene of the confrontation between Indu and the goons.
When the villains ask Indu who he was, he says 'Sevak hoon aapke...aapke kirmat mein haazir hoon!' LOL
2) University - Sanchi just can't seem to get Indu's thoughts out of her head - she recollects how he'd prepared breakfast for her and her mother's words about the 'changed Indu' too!
Oblivious of the world around her, she has a smile on her face by the time she's finished thinking of all of it - and ends up bumping into Mehek - lol
This scene was a first on many levels - first time Sanchi's thinking about Indu (without some negativity in it), first time she's smiling while thinking about him and first time she confides her confusion about Indu to Mehek too!
Needless to say, all this gives Mehek the perfect opportunity to tease her about Indu
3) Girly girly - Liked how the girls were casually sitting on the steps and discussing about Indu Singh - Sanchi had confused/worried frowns and Mehek had teasing smiles on!
'For the first time in my life, I'm forced to think about him so much...I'm totally confused' Sanchi confesses
Taken aback by Sanchi's admissions, Mehek openly wonders if Sanchi's falling in love. However, not surprisingly she gets told off by Sanchi immediately.
4) The goon - Wow @ how Indu makes Sanchi's enemy (the goon) fall at her feet. He'd accomplished one of his promises - that he'd find out who was behind all of the anarchy @ college. He then explains everything to the girls.
When Sanchi is surprised as to why someone would want to conspire against her, Indu snaps his fingers and says 'This is it...you're so innocent...this is politics..there are no friendships here, only enmity...'😳
And double wow when Sanchi thanks Indu for his help! Notice how the one genuine word of gratitude from her manages to bring down his heaving-angry self to an instantly calmed one!😳
Loool. later on - the injured gunda asks Indu to forgive him and the ever-generous man tells him 'Shabaash...stand up...bery good...bery good boy... dekhiye... ek inpharmation chaahiye...bahut zyaade intelligent banne ki koshish mat karna!Nahin tho phir..ill-tereatment karna padega' 🤣LOOOL
He then asks the limping fella to have his wounds massaged at night - crazy guy Indu Singh!
After the injured man leaves, Sanchi scolds Indu for resorting to dadagiri and rebukes him about how he'd never change. Now his answer to Sanchi was for me the best part of the episode -
'To Kaa uske aarti utaare ham?' 😆
Indu asks her 'Did you want me to treat him like you would...' he goes on to imitate her 'If I asked him so softly - Bhaiyyaji, please tell me who's the person behind all of this...you think, he'd then tell me all the information in detail?'
What's worse for Sanchi, Mehek vocally supports Indu in this too - she joins his charade with her own act and Indu is mighty pleased to see his saali sahiba supporting him. Indu and Mehek then get into a brief round of laughter leaving Sanchi all to herself! *Sigh...if only we'd gotten to see such scenes earlier!*
5) Lunch box - Then comes the lunch box bit- needless to say - Indu is instantaneously touched, while Mehek is having a royal time witnessing their silent exchanges!
Sanchi tells him 'Ma told me you hadn't had anything from morning.'
Now, he's even more moved 'Aapko hamri parvaa kabse hone lagi?' he smiles 'This is a miracle indeed'
He then wants her to sit back at the steps and wait beside him - at least until he finished his lunch! Good-girl-Mehek takes the cue and leaves the two love birds alone. Ha Ha! The poor fella just can't NOT praise his dearest sasuma's food, can he?
Well...anyway, soon after he offers her his hand of friendship - he requests and requests (in different words), but she only replies 'I'll think about it' with a plastered smile and leaves.
Her reply gets him into thinking mode and he resolves to get an answer from her!
6) The notes - Following this, what Indu did is possibly what caused Sanchi to be irritated (and later refuse his offer of friendship) - He hounds her with notes and notes and notes and some more notes - requesting her for an answer. He sends her texts, corners her at her house for an answer, hints at the dining table and even lays out a bed full of notes so she'd answer him!
Now some may appreciate this approach, but for many (especially for those like Sanchi) this might be a little suffocating. This is where Indu falters - he doesn't know how to give her her space. Yet!
7) Verrandah scene -
However, having said all that I just LOVED HOW HE nearly CORNERED HER IN THE VERRANDAH!
While she was busy deleting his text, he leans over her from the back (He just loves doing this, doesnt he?) and asks her 'how many messages will you delete?'
She turns around angrily 'How many ever you send me'
He has a naughty smile on his lips 'I'll keep sending them to you, till you don't say yes!'
'No' she retorts
'Yes' he adds
Their No-Yes parley goes on for a while
'No No No'
'Yes Yes Yes'
Her back's now against the wall 'No forever!'
and then Sanchi slips away from there
'Hey...listen...' he tries stopping her, but she leaves. He then smiles to himself mischievously 'if not today, then tomorrow - but I'll make sure you say yes... I've never learnt to accept defeat, you see...you will tell me 'YES'' Indu grins confidently
8) At the dinner - Poor Indu - When Radha begins woman-handling him again - Indu ensured he winked at Sanchi to assure her he was only acting to side with his mama mami (lest she start blaming him again😆!)
Anyway, what stood out after that - was not the silent conversation between Sanchi and Indu that followed, but that Veena and Tarachand were noticing them. Lool daddy dearest was not comfortable! Indu then realizes he's being watched by all and reverts to concentrating on his food!😆
Precap
The scene we'd all been waiting for - when Sanchi refuses Indu's friendship (Now this should be 'shock' enough for Indu - should get him to start avoiding her and allow him to recoil into his own shell!)
What touched me was his emotional statement to her 'What would you know of how much your friendship means to me?'
Ciao
