Everything died as soon as they were born, the laughter, the music and the happiness. There was only gloominess left nothing other than that as the frozen pairs of eyes watched the unconscious princess being carried inside by her maid servants. Princess Mirnalini who could watch no more of the drama also accompanied her sister an anxious look haunting her face.
Three hours...three hours went by as she paced the room restlessly thinking of what might have brought her sister back in this state, what on the earth went wrong and her mind, which was sharper than the others and obviously natured with the royal way of upbringing wondered away to the first block of the story.
Rukmani...
The first born of the devgar royal family, a happy, lively and independent princess with a beauty of her own account. There was no doubt that the younger princess was more beautiful yet Rukmani was the apple of everyone's eyes.
With her own ways of making happiness she was happy in her little world until one fateful day.
"you don't get it do you?"
"What"
"He's not the one I like"
"So here comes the blue bird, so princess is in love"
"Shh" Rukmani said covering her mouth, "Don't shout"
Mirnalini repeated the same sentence in whisper,
"So go and tell papa what's the matter?"

There was a moment of silence,
"I don't know" Rukmani said slowly,
"What? YOu're in love and you don't know with whom?" Rukmani frowned again and Mirnalini completed the sentence saying,
"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard"
"It doesn't matter now, the yuvrani as the royal law states can only marry a prince and he most definitely isn't a one"
"So what are you going to do forget him?"
"Yeah that was what I was trying to do?"
"So?"
"I just can't.."
"Can't sleep without dreaming of him, can't eat without thinking of him I think I can't even breathe without feeling him"
at this Mirnalini broke in to an unstoppable laughter.
"You're gone"
Rukmani opened the door for her.
"Get out"
"Well your heart most certainly is gone"
"So it seems" Rukmani thought after she had successfully shooed Mirnalini away.

Cham again a wonderful piece churned out by you👏. so rukmini was in love with Prithiviraj, and their daughther was Maya who Pritiviraj was unaware of(I guess so), i guess they(Rukmini and Prithviraj) got married secretly or something again my guess here, so his grand daughther is Manyata, well now evrything makes sense.

I love the bits and pieces of the background that we are getting, it's amazing! Confession, I am just as intrigued by the past as I am by the present, I totally wouldn't mind reading a story about their intrigues as well lol as if you didn't already have enough stories that you are working on lol- so no pressure dear!! 😉

Yes she adopted maya and no that's not the reason to hate her, you'll know it soon in the 11th chapter or soon after it😊
Prithvi was Rukmai's husband as you must have already realized and he's brother in law of Mirnalini.

I don hate NS but I do hate Mini.But somewhere I fell NS has been wring in a lot of things, and destiny has to make her pay for those wrong doings.Eagerly waiting for more of it to unfold. I really really like the way you blend the past and the present so beautifully.

You are right in some parts Pritvi wasn't aware of the fact that Maya in fact is his daughter, but their marriage wasn't a secret and Rukmani is the maharani of Rajgadh.
Ns was a girl trapped in bad circumstances so I feel a bit more about her, but you are right she'll have to pay for somethings she did.
