Chapter 9
Virat and Maanvi waved at them and then they went inside the house.
"Shouldn't you be with Maya?" Maanvi asks Virat.
"Dunno. I can't leave you here alone in your house," Virat tells her.
"You do know I've been home alone before," Maanvi sarcastically says. She walks into her room with Virat following behind her. "O teri! Why are you following me like a lost puppy? Go to your owner Maya."
"Kyun?" He asks.
"What do you mean by 'kyun'? Kyun ki... kyun... you don't like being here," She says.
"And what if I do like being here? What If I want to be here?" He asks, raising a questioning eyebrow. "What will you do then?"
"I... I will kick you out," Maanvi staggers.
"I would just come in through the window," Virat grins.
I will shout all the windows and doors then," She adds.
"Fine. But first you'll have to kick me out," he tells her, sitting down on a chair.
"Fine!" Maanvi snaps. She tries to push Virat off the chair but fails. Virat starts laughing.
"Guess I'm going to stay here afterall," He grins. Maanvi glares at him and then returns to unpacking.
"Whoa! It looks like you packed the whole house in there!" Virat exclaims, walking up to Maanvi. She rolls her eyes and carries on. "What's in here?"
"I can't tell you," Maanvi says, snatching the pink package away from him.
"Kyun?"
"Because it's for Jeevika dii."
"Oh."
"Di is really happy today," Maanvi states. "I think she likes your brother."
"I think he likes her too. He was talking about her last night," he tells Maanvi.
"Really? Di was blushing whenever I said his name."
"I wonder what they're doing right now..."
"Up for some spying?"

"Oh no! The place is deserted," Jeevika says.
"The movies must have started," Viren tells her.
"Let's see if we can still get into Housefull 2."
Viren and Jeevika then go to the box office to get some tickets.
"2 tickets for housefull 2 pleade," Viren asks.
"Sorry sir. Housefull 2, housefull hogaya hai," The lady tried to joke. Jeevika awkwardly looked at the lady and Viren tried not to laugh.
"What do you want to watch then?" Viren asks Jeevika.
"I don't mind."
"Kahaani?"
Jeevika nos, and Viren pays for the tickets. The two then go to the popcorn machine andget some snacks.

Maanvi and Virat quickly walk into the cinema and head towards the box office for tickets.
"Excuse me but do you know what film a couple went to?" Maanvi asks.
"Which couple?" The lady asks.
"Urm..." Virat thinks.
"They were going to watch housefull 2..." Maanvi tells her.
"Oh them two. They brought tickets for kahaani instead..." the lady looks at them suspiciously.
"Two tickets for kahaani then please," Virat says. He pays and the lady hands them their tickets.
"Let's get some popcorn," Maanvi suggests.

The foursome then settle fown in their seats. Virat and Maanvi behind Jeevika and Viren. Then red curtains open after the lights goes off. Then the movie quietly starts as people go silent in the room.
They all watch in silent; Jeevika and Viren really into the film, and Maanvi and Virat watching their every move.
"Do you think they will do anything? It's starting to get boring," Virat asks Maanvi.
"They're been like that for ages now. Not even holding hands!" Maanvi whispers.
Suddenly, Vidya Balan stabs a person. Jeevika lets out a screams and holdson to Viren's arms, scared. Viren looks at her hands and then her face. Jeevika notices where her hands where and quickly removes them, accidently taking a glance at his face. Both then share an eyelock.
('naino ne' plays)
Maanvi flicks two popcorns at their heads but they ignore it and keeping looking into each other's eyes.
"Vah vah, chemisty toh boht hot hai naa?" Maanvi says.
"Mein toh speechless hogaya ta," Virat says. Then they both put their popcorn all over Jeevika's and Viren's head leaving the box on their head. They start laughing and head out of the cinema.
Everyone was staring at Viren and Jeevika who had popcorn all over them.
"I swear I recognaised those laughs," Jeevika says, trying to pick up popcorn.
"Must have just been you," Viren says, trying to get popcorn out of her hair.
"Once I find out who did this, I'm going to kill them," Jeevika murmurs.
"Jeevika, it could have been anyone. Come on let's go out of here, the movie had ended."

Meanwhile, Maanvi and Virat were laughing hard as they came out of the room.
"That was hilarious!" Maanvi exclaims.
"Wish we could have seen their faces!" Virat says. The two then high five each other.
"Their reaction would have been priceless," Maanvi says as they walk. She doesn't see the spilt water on the floor neither the bright yellow sign and slips. Luckily Virat catches her and they share a sweet eyelock.
('nazar se nazar miley' plays)
They soon break away realising that Jeevika and Viren would be here. People start to fill the cinema up again and they take the chance to escape.
"Come on, we have to hide," Maanvi hisses, pulling on Virat's hand.

Viren and Jeevika head out of the cinema.
"Let's go and grab some lunch. Where'd you like to go?" Viren asks. Jeevika looks around the area and spots a cafe.
"What about that place there?" Jeevika suggests, pointing towards the place.
"Yeah sure," Viren says. They go to the cafe and sit on a table outside.
"tHe waiter should be coming soon," Viren tells her. Jeevika nods, keeping her eyes down.
"So... I was thinking, we should get to know each other better."
"Yeah okay."
"So I was thinking about doing a Q&A sort of thing. We both ask 3 questions and answer each one," Viren explains.
"Cool, you go first," Jeevika says, Viren nods.
"Okay, question 1," he pauses. "Would uou still carry on with your studies to become a doctor if you could go to London."
"I guess I would ig I got another chance. My first question for you... Why do you keep asking about my doctor... dream career?" Jeevika says.
"I'm just interested," he answers back. "Question 2, what's your favourite flower?"
"Oh... well I don't really have one."
"You must have one flower that you like at least..."
"Ermm... I kinda like roses," Jeevika answers.
"Oh you have a popcorn in your hair..." Viren says, trying to get it out. Then there loads of laughing coming from inside the cafe.
"I recognaise those laughs," Jeevika states.
"So do I..."
Both Viren and Jeevika then get up and head into the cafe. Maanvi tries not to laugh and presses her face into a newspaper. However, Virat has a laughing fit and cannot stop.
"Ahh, so these were the popcorn throwers," Jeevika says, pulling Virat's and Maanvi's ears.
"Dii, I'm sorry. Ouch,that hurts. Please let go," Maanvi says.
"Yes bhabi, we're very sorry. Please let go naa," Virat says.
"Kya? Bhabi?" Jeevika says shocked. She lets go of Maanvi's ears, but still holds on to Virat's.
"Bhabi, please please please let go of my ears. I won't be able to hear your beautiful voice if you keep pulling it," Virat says. Jeevika gives up and let's go.
"We're sorry, jiju and dii," Maanvi says.
"Maanvi, stop saying that," Jeevika blushes. Viren awkwardly scratches his head.
"We should we going now," Viren says.
"Yeah let's go," Jeevika agress with him.

The four go back to the Chaudary's house. There they meet Maya at the front.
"Virat.." She says with a threatening tone.
"Kya hua babes?" Virat says, going up to hug her but she pushes him away.
"What were you doing with HER?" She points at Maanvi.
"I was with Bhai actually, and I'm going home now," He says.
Maya murmurs something that no one hears and stalks back to her house. The guys then leave and the girls go into their house, when they hear their parents on the phone.
"Yeh toh khushi ki baat hai. Haan haan," Their dad sas into the phone. Their mother smiles at them happily.
"Maa, Papa kya hua?" Maanvi asks.
"Haan, why is everyone so happy?" Jeevika says.
"Because your cousin is getting married," Their dad says.
"Which cousin?" Jeevika asks.
"Khushi," Their mother says.
"OMG! Khushi's getting married!?" Maanvi exclaims.
"Maa, we have to go and meet her right now," Jeevika beems, really excited.
"Yes we told them that you two will be coming this afternoon. Go and get ready quickly," Their mother tells them.
