TV actors better than big screen actors

yeah

too bad their big screen appearances were not that impressive

actually i dont agree... i mean yes the small screen actors are good but thats beacause we've been seening them doing same scenes over again... i mean how many times have we seen tulsi cry and all... so yeah... i not sure how they would do if they had do change the theme and all... but dat dosent mean that the small screen actors are not as good as the big screen... i believe they are all great actors.

i dont think tv actors could ever be as good as ....like shah rukh and kajol..people like that...

I agree with nick_bon regarding the fact that TV stars make an impact on us because they have more time to grow on us. Bollwood requires something extra - maybe in personality or in hamming to be able to capture people's attention and hold it for 3 hours at a stretch. A good storyline can make up for an actor's deficiencies in these 3 hours but how many such scripts have been written?
Thus I would say that both are actually different media and the way that Karishma Kapoor could not make her serial work, Hiten was also a non-entity on the big screen when he got the chance(and remember that both were well known when they tried to cross over).

the difference is that the same screen ppl watch all the time n eaily accessible to all

really, i would say that small screen actors may not be able to hold it in the big screen and vice versa

i mean, there was this one movie with Shilpa Saklani, Arjun Punj and that guy from Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, and i must say, their acting was baaaaad. it didnt suit the big screen.
