Is it possible that Sugni did not object to Adi because she knows he has no intention with her, but he's just doing it for Vikram and perhaps Gulabiya? It gives her the out, and she's also relieved.

This still doesn't excuse it imo, because in name Amrita is still screwed, and if they go for romance then she's actually really screwed.

Also it doesn't excuse Gulabiya and her flip-flopping behavior. Seriously the woman goes and begs Adi and then lashes out at him. 🤪
