🥳 PART - 50🥳
Maan's eyes turned an ugly shade of reddish purple. He felt rage course through him at this fool's audacity. While Geet stood unperturbed, with Maan by her side, she didn't as much even flinch and looked at Brij straight in his eyes…
Brij was highly disappointed in fact, he was quite taken aback to see the confidence oozing out of Geet's eyes and he was not liking it at all…
"Hmmm lagta hai marne ka dar nahi hai tujhe???" Brij asked exasperatedly trying to instill at least some amount of fear in her. He very well knew that the fear and pain in her eyes would be the perfect torture for Maan and he wanted to see Maan dying every second seeing her like that…
"Do you know who is standing beside me???" Geet asked the leech proudly….
"Huh???" Brij was confused…
"Mere side mein Maan Singh Khurana khade hain… Aur agar abhi yamraj bhi yahan aa jaaye to wo mujhe bina inki marzi ke kahi nahi leja sakta… Samjhe??? To phir tum kya cheez ho BRIJ HANDA???" Geet said pointing a finger at him and her hazels filled with disgust for the man in front of him whom she thought to be her brother…
Brij was thoroughly agitated and to some extent started feeling helpless while Maan smirked and held Geet even closer showing Brij that he could do nothing to them… Brij gave them a filthy look and screamed…
"Ayeee… Tum log…"
Before Brij could complete his sentence, the whole corridor got filled with smoke and the visibility literally reduced to zero…
"Yahan kya ho raha hai??? AYEEE…" Brij screamed like a barking dog but to the creep's relief, the smoke subsided as quickly as it appeared, he immediately checked in front of him and was quite relieved to see Maan and GEET still on their place… At some moment he had felt that they would have escaped…
"Agar yeh tumhari chaal thi Khurana toh mujhe bada afsos ho raha hai ki tumhara plan fail ho gaya aur tum aur meri pyari behen bhaag nahi paaye…" Brij said smirking…
Maan merely shook his head and leaned on the nearby railing comfortably… He scanned Brij from top to bottom and finally asked…
"Kyun???"
Brij gave him a confused look still maintaining the gunpoint at Geet's forehead, though to his amusement Geet had started sweating now and looked visibly shaken and scared…
"Kyun kiya tumne yeh sab???" Maan elaborated his question..
"Tumhe Nahi pata Khurana???" Brij sneered…
"Ya right… Property… rupay, Jaayzaad ke liye to tum apne sagey baap ko bhi nahi bakshtey, Right???"
Brij suddenly looked alarmed and spoke hesitatingly…
"T… T.. Tttum k.. kehhnaa kkkya c… chaahtey h.. ho???"
"Well yeh to tum aur main dono hi jaantey hain but still abb tum mere muh sey sunanaa chaahtey ho to let me do the honour… Hoshiarpur ki haveli, Chandigarh ke paas ki zameen, do crore rupay, Darji ki will… Ring a bell???" Maan spoke quoting with his fingers in the air…
"Yeh sab tum kaise jaantey ho???" Brij asked quite taken aback…
"Main aur bhi bahut kuchh jaanta hoon Saaley… Ooops saaley ji… Jaisey ki aapke poojney pitaji aur mere bade sasur ji ki maut ya phir main kahun hatya kaise hui thi aur kisne ki thi…"
"T.. tumhare p.. ppass k… kya sa.. saboot hai k.. ki maine … p.. papaji ka kh.. khoon kiya hai…" Brij stammered…
"Well maine to yeh kabhi bhi nahi kaha ki tumne apne pita ka khoon kiya hai…" Maan smirked enjoying himself thoroughly…
While GEET looked on a, little confused with whatever was going on between these two men, and at the same time thoroughly frightened as she was still on gun point…
Brij had started sweating by now and his eyes were desperately looking for his accomplice…
"Kya hua saaley oops saaley ji, kissi ko dhoond rahey ho??"
Brij looked up startled wondering how did Maan know or actually how much did Maan know…
"Well shayad jissey tum dhoond rahey ho wo tumhare theek peechey hai…"
Brij turned his head a little and felt as if the ground had slipped from below his feet… His partner in crime stood there in clutches of Vicky who had held the man's hands and throat in a death grip… A man who was in his mid-twenties, looking upon disgustingly at Maan and Geet for foiling his plan and helplessly at Brij…
"Kya hua saaley…. Umm I mean mere bhai ke saaley ji??? Dude, lost your tongue???"
This time it was Vicky who sneered tightening his hold on the man in his clutches…
Brij quickly composed his disoriented state and once again fixed his gaze on Maan and nearly whispered mockingly…
"Tum jaantey bhi ho yeh kaun hai Khurana???"
"Of course… Tumhe kya lagaa main aur mera bhai kya itne dino se bhajjiyan bana rahey thhey???" Maan spoke in the same tone giving a big shock to Brij as well as his accomplice who stilled in Vicky's grip…
"Well let me do the intros… This leech… err guy or gay… whatever… is Rahul… aka Ranjit Khurana's blood or you can say his illegitimate son… ya desi bhaasha mein unki naajayaz aulad…" Vicky finished literally shouting the last two words in Rahul's ears, as if making him aware of his life's reality…
Brij and Rahul both had fixed their gaze on Maan to see his expressions at this but both of them were highly disappointed that he didn't even flinch… They had expected the MSK to break when he got to know this but were totally surprised to see him completely calm and composed…
"Tum apne sautele bhai sey mil rahey ho, apney baap ki njaayaz aulad sey mil rahey ho aur tumhe sharam bhi nahi aa rahi??? Shayad besharmi to tumharey khoon main hai.." Brij tried to provoke Maan and get the satisfaction of seeing his anger on his helplessness…
To both the men's surprise, both Vicky and Maan started laughing like maniacs… Maan was the first to gain his composure and spoke…
"Baap??? Kaun sa baap?? Kiska baap?? For your kind information Mr. Brij Handa… Tumne aur tumhare iss saathi ne itni planning kari par tum logon ko itna bhi nahi pata ki mere ma-papa kaun hai??? Great!!! Tum kal bhi ekk bewkoof thhey aur aaj bhi ekk bewkoof hi ho… Tumne iss Rahul ko include kar ke ekk kaafi achchha plan to banaya with Rimi, Geet's attempt to murder in London and all… In fact mujhe to pehle hi doubt that ki tumhare paas itna dimaag kaise aaya… But see both of you failed in this aspect…" Maan mocked him..
While Vicky too piped in amidst his fit of giggles…
"Gosh dude!!! This was your hukum ka ekka???"
Brij froze, how did Vicky know about Hukum ka ekka thing??? There was only one person who knew about it besides him… RIMI... But he couldn't focus further on his thoughts as Vicky continued…
"… Seriously man, you could do better than that… Well let me do the intros once again!!! I am Vickrant Singh Khurana, son of Mr. Raj Singh Khurana and of course you know Maan Singh Khurana… son of…"
Rahul and Brij looked at each other, their ears shot up in anticipation of Vicky's answer..
"… Mr. Raj singh Khurana and and and… my TWIN BROTHER…"
Poor Brij and Rahul were in tears, their master plan had failed miserably, and nothing was going according to it… Rahul didn't say a word, as he was rendered speechless, anyway Vicky had gagged his mouth with his handkerchief…
But then something clicked in Rahul's head and he signaled something to Brij who understood it immediately… he leapt forward and held Geet's hair in his clutches making her cry in pain, and pointed the gun on her temple with the other hand…
"Abb kya karoge Mr. Khurana… Tum aur tumhare bhai ne bahut achchhi planning ki par ekk jagah tum chook gaye… Chalo Vickrant Khurana, abhi issi waqt Rahul ko chhodo…" Brij and Rahul both smirked…
But they again got another shock when Vicky didn't even budge from his place while Maan yawned disinterestedly…
"Main mazaak nahi kar raha, main sach main iss ladki ki khopdi uda doonga…" Brij literally digging the tip of the gun in her temple making her scream and shake with fear…
"Toh??? What are you waiting for??? Shubh kaam mein deri kaisi??? Uda do… There would be one less person increasing the burden on earth then…" Vicky piped in encouraging him to shoot…
Brij looked on confused and finally Maan had some pity on him and revealed…
"Jo iss waqt tumhare shikanje mein hai wo Geet nahi RIMI hai…"
Brij was horrified at the turn of events and his grip on Rimi immediately loosened, he pushed her on the ground and turned her harshly to have a closer look at her face and truly, it was Rimi who was wearing similar clothes and accessories that Geet had worn… He was duped!!
"Chooo chooo choo… Bichara Brij aaj apne hi bheje hue mauharey se dhoka kha gaya…" Vicky mocked…
"Par… kaise??" Brij asked dejectedly…
Maan and Vicky gave each other a knowing look and Vicky explained…
A FEW MINUTES BACK
The whole corridor got filled with smoke and the visibility literally reduced to zero… Maan immediately held Geet's hand and pushed her behind the door that was safely hidden behind a film poster…
"Maan???" Geet asked questioningly…
"Shhh… Geet abhi koi sawaal nahi… Dad tumhe sab bata denge…" Maan explained and quickly gave her hand in Raj's hand…
"Dad… Rimi???"
"Yeh rahi beta…" Papaji spoke pushing ahead Rimi who was trembling from head to toe… She was dressed exactly same as Geet and her make up had been done by an expert, in fact no one could make out the difference between her and Geet , if one didn't look closely… Firstly owing to her similarity with Geet and secondly due to the make up!!!
Maan roughly held her hand and dragged her… Meanwhile Mohinder closed the door and Maan adjusted the the film poster before dragging her to the place where he and Geet were standing earlier…
"Now don't speak a word or else…" Maan whispered warningly in Rimi's ear that sent shivers down her spine…
She simply nodded as she had already lost her voice due to extreme fear…
The smoke that was created by some sprays by the guards thinned out as Maan signaled them…
All this was done within minutes as Maan already had a fair idea that this would happen but he had miscalculated the time a little and hence Brij caught hold of Geet when it should have been Rimi all along, so while Brij was busy speaking his bullshit, Maan was typing out the next set of instructions on his blackberry and messaging it to everyone using his BB messenger!!!
When Geet told him that somebody else was involved too, he messaged Vicky to look into the matter immediately and hence Vicky caught Rahul when he was just behind Brij and put his hand on Rahul's mouth and dragged him in the corner to award him a few punches and kicks; Tie his hands with a rope and gag his mouth!!!…
PRESENT
Brij and Rahul couldn't help but marvel and appreciate the Khurana's intelligence within their minds but still there was one question in Brij's mind…
"… Par tumhe Rimi kaise mili… Tumhe kaise pata chala ki wo zinda hai??" Brij asked knowing well that there must be some big answer behind this too!!
PAST, Hospital…
"Maan just come to the OT now!!!" Vicky ordered and disconnected the phone without listening to anything…
Maan was truly horrified and without saying a word opened his seat belt and car's door and leapt out of it!!!
Maan ignored all the worrying looks and queries of his family and stood in front of the OT door, a nurse emerged and escorted him inside…
His heart lurched seeing his Geet lie lifelessly on the Operation table with so many tubes and machines attached to her…
"Vicky, meri Geet ko kya hua hai?? Wo theek to hai na???" Maan ranted on restlessly while his eyes were still glued on his Jaanoo…
"Maan, relaz dude, she is okay and out of danger, she and the babies are completely stable, maine tumhe yaha Doll ki wajah sey nahi bulaya…" Vicky spoke restlessly…
"What?? Phir kyun???" Maan asked getting confused though he was relieved that his Geet and babies were okay…
"Just come with me…"
Vicky guided Maan to OT 2, which was attached to the OT in which they were there a few seconds back… Both the OTs had the same entrance…
"Maan… See what we have got here…"
Maan looked up and froze to see Rimi lying on the Operation table with a bandage on her forearm…
"That means…"
"Yes dude, all this fire thing was a farce and that Brij escaped using it to his benefit but unfortunately for him Rimi couldn't escape on time and a pillar collapsed on her arm so she had to come to hospital to get the deep cut stitched up!!! Luckily for us she chose this hospital and I found her!!!" Vicky finished…
Maan steeled his expressions, as he was quite angry that Brij escaped from his clutches, but he knew he had to be practical and calmed himself…
They made Rimi their hostage and forced her to reveal everything about Brij and herself…
Rimi was very scared so she spilled the beans and told them how she belonged to a small Kasba near Hoshiarpur and did odd jobs to feed her little sisters as they had lost their parents in the flood at an early age… How Brij spotted her one-day and offered her a big amount to do this work… She was well trained by Brij regarding Geet's habits and her family…
When she joined as an upcoming model and became successful, she tasted the royal and luxurious life and thus became addicted to it!! Though she was hired to merely get all the property of Handas as well as Khuranas in her name and transfer it to Brij, somewhere she herself started getting greedy and wished for this comfortable and love filled life forgetting that it was only a ploy and not reality!!
Somewhere Maan pitied Rimi and hence offered to get her punishment by law reduced and also finance her sisters' education if she cooperated with them, to which she complied hesitatingly!!
They used the information given away by Rimi and gathered the rest of the information in their own and devised a fool proof plan to finish off Brij and Rahul once and for all!!!
Vicky and Maan included all the family members including Geet in their plan when Geet got well and devised this plan of an outing, as they knew Brij would definitely strike at this opportunity…
PRESENT
Brij knew that his game was up and he tried to turn and run away but behind him stood two burly looking fellows dressed in policeman's uniform… They didn't give him any chance to speak and handcuffed him immediately…
A few other police officers took charge of Rahul from Vicky, while some female officers handcuffed Rimi as well!!!
"Sir, humein aapki aur aapki family ki statement chaiyeh hogi about everything since inn teeno par bahut sey charges hain specially Brij par, and we would also need all the proofs that you collected against them…" The inspector said to Maan…
"Sure inspector… But kya hum kal police chowki aa saktey hain… You see so much has happened today…" Vicky asked…
"I understand sir… If you don't have any problem main khud ek- do din mein aa kar aapke Khurana Mansion sey aapki individual statement le lunga… Actually hum jitna delay karengey utni hi case ki date delay hogi…" The inspector explained…
"Theek hai Inspector… We will wait for you in evening…" Maan approved…
Rahul and Brij were still dazed with the happening and hence didn't protest much!! Neither did Rimi, who was still sacred out of her wits... But they were woken up from their reverie when Geet came out from the room with Mohinder and Raj and slapped Brij across his face…
"Tumne mere saath jo bhi kiya ya karna chaha… Uske kiye to main tume maaf kar sakti hoon par tumhari wajah sey jo dukh mere Maan ko, Mama ko, Papaji ko sehna pada, uskey liye main tumnhe kabhi nahi bakhshoongi…" Geet started hyperventilating and Maan held her from behind to calm her, though he knew it was her love for him and family that was speaking!!!
Geet looked once at Maan's eyes and finally spoke feeling proud…
"Tumne itne plan banaye par tum yeh baat bhool gaye ki you are dealing with Maan Singh Khurana and Maan Singh Khurana is nothing but the BEST!!!"
Geet finished all the while looking at Maan's eyes while the police and family could do nothing but admire the love and respect in Geet's eyes for her Maan!!!
