Rajashree Thakur plans her trousseau

When Ektaa Kapoor recently mentioned actor Rajashree Thakur (Saloni of 'Saat Phere') as one of the promising faces of 2007, the dusky Maharashtrian could not help feeling elated.

She states, "It feels nice to be complimented by Ektaa. But it's team effort that has pushed the show to the No 1 position. When I signed 'Saat Phere' (Zee) I didn't imagine that it would turn so popular."

Engaged to stage actor Sanjyot, Rajashree says that her fianc is fair-complexioned.

Saying that her dusky tone has never given rise to feelings of insecurity, she adds, "The fact that Sanjyot has chosen me and proposed to me, shows that he likes me the way I am."

Rajashree postponed her wedding to next year because she wants to plan well for the mega event in her life.

"We want to have a traditional Maharashtrian wedding. The guest-list keeps increasing everyday. We will begin shopping after the monsoons," says the eager bride-to-be. She adds,

"As of now I am enjoying every bit of my work. I have chosen this profession so why should I complain? But after marriage I will lessen the work load. I want to devote time to my family."
