Matt Lewis Says Neville to
Progress Rapidly in Film Five;
Coming to Next Few PotterCasts
"It almost comes off as a different character this year," he said of Neville. "He's not the Neville that we all know. He starts off that way then rapidly changes throughout the film. It's been a lot of fun. Definitely a change, but definitely a welcome one."
He also speaks of working more closely with the main group of Potter actors, the new screenwriter and director (He [director David Yates] very much believes that no one knows more about the character than the person who's played him for the past five years."), as well as some of the newer faces around the Potter set, such as Imelda Staunton as Dolores Jane Umbridge, the evil Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
"She [as Umbridge] is the nastiest person you'll ever meet, on the film. She's just cruel and twisted and slightly mental," he said. "You can see she's plotting something. She's plotting how she's going to kill you, later on, when your back is turned."
These conversations and a huge amount more are included in the first of a three-part interview with Matt that will start airing on PotterCast early tomorrow.
