Why did RajK target Chaturi/Rathis? & so sloppy?

I can't speak for everyone, but I am extremely curious about the truth of Rajkumar/Anuraag Joshi/whatever his name really turns out to be. We all have our own theories about who he really is, including a terrorist, a conman, and an undercover police officer (this was my theory - you can see what I wrote about it here: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/diya-aur-baati-hum/3109408/mr-anuraag-joshi-aka-rajkumar-an-undercover-cop) and I would love for the truth to be revealed to us soon. I guess I had better try to be patient, though...

Ever since Chaturi bumped into Ishwar Kaka and found out that RK is an imposter, I've been wondering WHY he pretended to be a real person from her village in the first place. I guess he told her he was from her village because he thought/knew that that would lead her to trust him easily. So somehow he knew what would make Chaturi trust him before he got to Hanuman Gali - Chaturi got scoped out!

And, after Meena conveniently found his passport, he let Meena and Vikram overhear him speaking on the phone about being rich. It looks like he knew that these two love nothing more than money, and that *being rich* would keep these two under his control. So it appears that he scoped out Meena and Vikram, too! (He might actually be rich but I think the story he told them was made up) I like how he kept giving them gifts - the vacuum cleaner was my favourite! We know that the TV he brought into the Rathi home has got something inside it (whether that is money, stolen goods, a bomb, surveillance equipment etc etc... we shall have to wait and see!) so I wonder what the deal was with the vacuum cleaner. Maybe it too has something inside it, or maybe he just wanted to get back at Meena for giving away sweets from Sooraj's shop for free when people bought saris from her shop? Sooraj's store lost earnings because Meena gave away sweets for free, and when she took the vacuum cleaner to her shop she ended up sucking up all the money she had made from the saris, and I think she wasn't able to recover it because the notes got torn! I wonder if Vikram ever found out about that! If this is what Rajkumar's intention was with the vacuum cleaner then I must say, it is very noble of him! From this possibility and from his interactions with Chotu when Chotu got upset about Sooraj's disqualification, it appears that Rajkumar isn't all bad and may actually turn out to be a good guy. But of course, you never know!

Back to my original topic - it appears that he has scoped out Chaturi and at least some of the Rathis - but why? Why would he be targeting them? I have no idea what he would want with them in particular, so would love to read your ideas. Someone else recently suggested that he might be wanting to buy/take over the Rathi home or Sooraj's shop, so that is a possibility.

Also, if he is really undercover then why is he so sloppy about his story? Why would you leave your passport somewhere where it could possibly be found rather than keeping it on yourself? And why would you speak on the phone to a friend the way he did about being a rich father's son (surely your friend already knows that?) within earshot of Meena and Vikram? And why pretend to be someone from Chaturi's village when it is so obvious that someone from the village could easily reveal to her that he is not actually from their village? If he is undercover then he is extremely sloppy - either that or he actually wanted Meena/Vikram and Chaturi to find out he was lying to them. Is he trying to see who he can trust or control before he continues with his plans (whatever they may be)?

Whatever the deal is with Mr Mysterious, I am very much intrigued and am looking forward to seeing what happens with this track next. I hope this track will contribute to getting the whole Sandhya-wants-to-be-an-IPS-officer show on the road. And maybe even Brandon will be involved in revealing the truth of Rajkumar, if he does come to Pushkar now. For the moment, I think Rajkumar might have caught/grabbed Chaturi before she fell down the cliff, or he might try to find her if he didn't actually save her from falling all the way already. If one of these is the case then it will be interesting to see what happens after that. I wonder if he will try to sweet talk her like he did with Meena and Vikram... It would be really funny if at some stage Chaturi calls the police on Rajkumar (after she has recovered a bit, of course), especially if he really is an undercover police officer himself!

Me too curious abt RK who is a mystery man at the moment.

More than anything I am waiting/longing for more Sooraj Sandhya moments especially once they get back to Pushkar

I would imagine that no one has ever had her under control like that before, not sherni Bhabo or anyone else (maybe not even her parents). I'm sure Bhabo would love to know the secret of keeping Meena under control, lol! 😉 😆

So, whether he actually originally targeted the Rathis because they are well-known/respected and wouldn't be suspected of harbouring a terrorist or not, it appears that Sooraj being famous after his WTC win is certainly working in Rajkumar's favour. And everyone thinks he is a great guy after he has managed to endear himself to so many people that frequently visit the temple.

He is still as sloppy as ever, but I guess you have to admire his gall (at least a little bit!) - making a bomb in Sooraj's shop when he knew that the door could be opened from the outside at any moment! That certainly solved the mystery of "my friend's TV"! I wonder if the vacuum cleaner he gave to Meena will make a reappearance? I feel really sorry for Chaturi, the poor thing being kidnapped and having no idea why or whom by! And it turns out that her prince charming who was sent by God ("Main Rajkumar hoon. Mujhe Ishwar ne bheja hain") is really a villain! At least RK and the other guy were clever enough to keep his face hidden from Chaturi. But seriously, RK called up Sooraj's brand new, two-day old mobile phone for Chaturi to speak to the family on? Really, RK? You couldn't have called Sooraj's shop landline or the Rathi family home landline? Surely RK would have at least known the shop's landline number?

I guess this sloppiness of RK is necessary for the story to progress as it will actually allow Sandhya to become suspicious and have clues to investigate as she tries to figure out things, eventually (hopefully!) leading to the terrorists bomb efforts being thwarted. And in a way I guess it actually shows us that we need to think things through calmly otherwise we will make mistakes. I say that because RK, as a terrorist, is probably motivated by extreme emotion (eg. hate, anger, extreme sadness), and so when things happen, he tries to come up with plans to fix things in his highly emotional state and he ends up making mistakes such as this. I guess in a way his greatest sloppiness is actually still having Chaturi alive, but this is definitely a good thing! And perhaps it somehow shows us that RK isn't all bad? I hope they will reveal a bit of his motivations and how/why he ended up being a terrorist.

All hail RK's sloppiness, which will eventually be his downfall!

Terrorism is an unfortunate reality and a very sensitive subject, so I hope what I am trying to say here is coming across properly, but if I have unintentionally caused any offence then I sincerely apologise.
