you must be kidding me right? India has a big immigration problem. people from Sri Lanka, China, Pakistan and Bangladesh are all settled in India without any papers. I remember taking a class on urban structure back in sophomore year and Indian is lacking in a well structured society. They don't have a set of rules for anything.

Government status in the country is to blame for it all.

It's Bangladeshi. And papers can be bought. Take a stroll in Wadala East if you like...
And it is Sri Lankan in Tamil Nadu. Pretty blatant. They have political protection. Most of them are close to the border - Rameshwaram area.

Nobody is safe in India or the whole Indian subcontinent as far as I am concerned. India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka...are women safe in any of these countries? Mumbai when it was Bombay was actually pretty nice at one time. Quite safe.

Kolkata was thought to be safe ,now from last one and half year each day one or two rap cases are coming in news ..I feel yuck seeing the country and people who should be morally taught to respect woman and the criminals should be punished so hard that other will not even think of doing these horrendous crimes..But government is so worried about their issues , they do nothing than questioning the character of the victim..specially in west bengal where our present chief minister is a woman herself
