Guys just got a news from Palllu Diii..abt online sms voting...it is Shhoocking n scaring..don't kwn wat is going to happend bt pls confrm abt this news guys as i am from paksitan ..unabe to do nythng abt tht😕here is the news in paalu di's wrds i got from her..

Hey Tabeer, I just got a news that buk sms have been banned for next 15 days. DUe to some violence in major parts of the city because of threatening msgs and all. I have confirmed that we can do only 5 msgs a day. I am hell scared because of this.

I am really scared now... Please ask everyone to enquire about this news, I might be wrong (but chances are less)

Please ask everyone to check from their customer care centre which ever brand cell they using to confirm this news and save their five msgs.

Ok this very very important. I just read the newspaper and it said that bulk sms have been banned for next 15 days because of harsh and threatening sms being send to northern people. Now, I m hell worried.

And the report said that even the demand to ban social networking sites has been put forward, but that's not approved yet.

Oh God, my brother just told me ke you can do only five msgs a day till august 31. I am sooo angry now, Gurmeet needed us the most now and this ban. I m hell worried yaar. PLease guys call your customer care centre which ever cell phone u r using and confirm this news. From my side its confirmed. And if you can do only five msgs, them save your msgs and dont msg to anyone...

Please guys, check from your customer care centre.

Vote for Gurmeet, through online more. I know online votes are not counted mush still we have no choice left. And save your five msgs.

Yes its in my place Bangalore karnataka...

There is SMs are spread and they are using Facebook and social sites to threaten the ppl who ride in north east regions of India... And many ppl nearly 4000 ppl have left Bangalore...
Because some ppl have threatened them if they stay in karnataka they will be killed so . Police is thinking to ban bulk sms ...for 15 days...

Hey Bhavya😊, they are not thinking , the rule is already appiled. No one is able to send more then 5 sms's now.

Guys..as we all know bulk sms is banned in India for d next 15 days..not more than 5 sms per no can be sent..n this is actually happening.I have tried sending more than 5 sms,but of no avail..
So obv online voting can be done in loads.

Background Info on the ban in case someone wants to know about it.

Due to recent unrest and provocative pictures and MMS clip circulated via social platforms and via SMS, there has been a unrest in India. People from NE India were directly and indirectly threatened about repurcassions on them in retaliation for Violence in Assam and Myanmar by a anonymous groups . Two students in pune were stabbed and killed and one tibetan was killed in mysore. As a result, mass exodus of NE Indian people from cities of bangalore were noticed. about 30,000 people has left bangalore and also large amount of people have left hyderbad and chennai too. IN the light of recent activities, to protect peace and harmony the GOI has banned bulk sms and transferring of data more than 20Kb at a time for the coming 15 days only.

Keeping this background in mind, voting will definitely be hampered . I am sure notification for online voting and other means of voting will be provided by the channels. Discuss the voting troubles here in this thread only.

Yes thats true.. I am also able to send 5 SMS only for gurmeet... dont worry..gurmeet has thousands of fans & if each one vote 5 sms for him will surly work...we can vote online as well.. keep on voting there...
