2001 was indeed too early. Then remember in the 2nd season of KWK (while he was dating rozza) they asked him during rapid fire, "Rani or Preity" and he said Kareena, lol. Then during a Zee Awards show, in 2006 when the hosts asked him to choose, again he said Kareena. So I dunno, he had a thing for her for YEARS.

I can understand why he went kinda hyper when he finally hooked up with her 😆
