My guess is that Yash has started to fall for Aarti and feels like he's cheating on Arpita's memories therefore he's started to hate Aarti for making him fall in love with her. Defense mechanism.

This was kinda bound to happen. Yash wouldn't have crossed over to accepting Aarti without putting up a fight.
