I am sooo disappointed with the results order, I find it very hard to believe that the audience actually voted Om 2nd when everywhere u go you hear people calling out for Rohan and Soumya. I AM happy that Faisal won though, I really think he deserved it from day 1 and I thought that was very fair.
But like everyone said, Soumya 4th?!??!!! That HAS to be some kind of gender prejudice. I know people say they have had a girl winner in the past on DID but I mean come on, in all of DID's what, at least 5 seasons there has only been ONE girl winner? And it is definitely not because the girls weren't good, I know Vaishnavi from last little masters was AMAZING but she placed 3rd surprisingly. People also said there have been a few female seragamapa winners but that just goes with the stereotype of girls singing and boys dancing. An injustice has been played on Soumya today =/
Well like I said, I love the fact that Faisal won, hate the fact that Om was placed above Rohan and Soumya, that is absolutely ridiculous and 1000% politics. SO unfair. If it is because Om entertained people more than Rohan and Soumya, it is so unfair because the producers gave Om the most talking time out of ANY contestant for sure, and this is all because he is cute. So in essence, Om was placed 2nd for being cute. =/ I agree with the previous poster that Om is an AMAZING gymnast and should possibly be trained for the olympics, but not dance. Sorry, he should have been 4th or 5th with Jeet.
I will say though that I am very impressed with the way all of the contestants reacted. Last DID LM EVERY contestant cried, which I don't really blame them for since they are all children. But this season no one cried, they all took it like champs, especially Rohan. The just looked a bit disappointed, which is understandable. So hats off to them!
