Tonight it was about Arnav Singh Raizada, the husband who had just found love; who had just learned to put his past behind him and embrace his future. But the past wouldn't just go away.....It was a glimpse of what could be and what once was...

We started off with the husband Arnav having now found out that Khushi is affected by talks of suhaag raat didn't waste an opportunity to tease her. He continues to stalk her, reminding her of the suhaag raat at every instance.... She pours water in a glass of milk, has worn her dress backwards and is making jalebis; such is the effect he has on her...

Yeh ladki paagal hai...

Pheras isn't even on her mind anymore...She has accepted him as her husband....How does she get out of this one or does she even want to get out of it? He corners her as both are showered by beautiful marigold petals of orange and gold...

Tumhe darr tho nahi lag raha haina....Good! See you tonight...

Romance in the kitchen, how many of you thought that? A wasted opportunity...

A little boy who had lost both his parents to suicide, was thrown out of his home, their grandmother had abandoned them....But he had learned to survive the hard way. Not just survive but he thrived and created an empire....It was the survival instinct and an urge to excel at costs that made him who he was, a ruthless business tycoon....He learned to destroy those who came in his path, he never learned to trust coz those around him either let him down, hurt him or abandoned him....

The making of the man, ASR!

A grandmother who should have nurtured them is now back after 14 long years....There was no love lost.....She barely showed any concern, had no questions on how they survived or how they took care of each other having been orphans and homeless....She told him he was a changed man, not the boy she knew. He wasn't the boy who would sleep on her lap or run behind her.... She was instead questioning his existence....She unequivocally declares he was wrong then and wrong now..... A pregnant woman needs her husband by her side and a child needs a father was the crux of her argument....

Waqt insaan ko bahut kuch seekha detha hai...

He is now a grown man who was once fending for himself and those around him at the young age of 14. Life's lessons have toughened him & today he stood tall defending his decisions right or wrong. He was unperturbed at the face of all the accusations...

Why was she determined to bring back memories of that night, a hurt Arnav Singh Raizada asks his dadi...

He declares he was right then & he is right now....He will not hear a word against his mother or his sister...He will not let Shyam hurt is sister and he will never be a part of his sisters life, not if he has a say in it....

Mera faisla tab bhi sahi tha, aur aaj bhi sahi hai....Tab bhi galti dad ki thi aaj Shyaam ki hai

Little did he know his sis does not completely agree with his decision....I cannot even fathom how hurt he will be with Anjali's betrayal.... This will be the ultimate betrayal if it ever comes to that.... When he realizes this fact he will not forgive himself for putting Khushi through so much pain for a sister who went behind his back to meet Shyam, a man who tried to kill him and came close to marrying Khushi while still being married to his sister......

Just when he had reconciled with Shyam's truth, found his wife innocent after months of turmoil in his personal life, just when he was finding some happiness, just when he had started to smile again, just when he finally told his sis we will forget the past together for the first time; his past was now haunting him again....

His past is what has made him who is, months of torture to the poor girl now make sense...He did not want his sister to walk down that same path his mother once had...He did whatever he could to stop that, Khushi paid the price...

How will he battle this new encounter with his past? Will he succumb to the wishes of his sister and his dadi for the good of his family? How will he balance his new life with any new revelation of his past? So many unanswered questions...But one thing is clear, the man never shies away from a challenge...

Pics - Thank you Ippy, you are a sweetheart! This post would be incomplete without your pictures...🤗

Thanks for opening the Hangout Sari!!! 🤗

Great post as always...I agree with you here yup the kitchen scene was a wasted Romantic Opportunity but aur bhi honge am sure!

Ok SG's tonight Song of the evening first primarily because on my drive home the shuffle feature found this song buried in my playlist and today I HAD to share it because it bought a smile to my face instantly! I hope you all enjoy it while I re-watch the episode live on TV and return with my take! 😃

Tonight was the team ending a fabulous week on a very high note and a very strong message to the audience. We ARE listening to you! We want to deliver we really REALLY do just give us an opportunity to prove that we are worth it. The fandom as always there this week was about the TRP's and the lost audiences. Fingers and toes crossed they get their awards and rewards because Team IPKKND you did it! ⭐️

It begins at the dining table today...as lost Khushi fill's Nani's glass of milk with water and is horrified 😕 I didnt get the horror in this scene...NK catches Khushi's wrong side worn kurta and everyone chuckles while Arnav thinks what a mad girl he is married too! he totally has the girl freaking out here and adds to the teasing and she stands there all embarassed and annoyed and finally leaves!😆

Anjali doing her hide and seak for yet another day...this time Arnav and Mami offer to take her to the temple but she denies and makes excuses to go on her own. Both finally agree to let her go alone. BTW Anjali/Dollyji by touching your tummy again and again what is it that you are trying to prove? There is NO bump to hold! We know that...I just dont get the point of any of this nautanki. Either you show a bump or do everything to create a fake one...dont highlight it even though you very well know it is not there! 😡

Payal asks Khushi to bring Gende ke phool and loverboy grabs her and the phoolon ki baarish happen on them...like Ippy said earlier the Phera's will happen somewhere sometime in the future but we will have to wait for that 😉 Arnav reminds Khushi that tonight is their SUhaag raat and if she remembers the conversation from yesterday and she looks around all confused and flabbergasted! Once again he teases her and leaves her questioning DM on what to do...🤣 Nani ask's Khushi to make Badam Kheer 🤢 instead humari Damsel in DIstress makes Jalebi in tension and stress unknowingly! 😆 Arnav comes back to tease her but totally wasted opportunity here for a sweet innocent romantic Rabba Ve moment! 😲 Sanaya does these scenes amazingly...it's very difficult to portray this anguish and anxiety on screen so honestly and innocentl and the girl deserves more applause than she has been receiving lately. 👏

Random Candle and Wick reference and promo...apparently all the show's are doing it...i dunno why...i dont wanna know why! Moving on...🥱 Mami wonder's where Anjali is...and calls her...Anjali lies again clearly she is at a restaurant talking to someone in peace and not at the temple...liar liar sari on fire? 😡 Shes even chackma maroing the bechara driver that seems to be standing outside some random mandir! Uff Iss Sardard ko Kya naam doon?

Nani trying to lighten up the mood with Dadi and this freaking Khadoos and uptight woman is hell bent on knowing where the damned Damadji of the house is...Nani tries to make excuses and shes shut up by the tone of Dadi. 😡 The woman doesnt stop questioning as Arnav and Mami over hear the loud tone...Arnav comes and gives it to th psycho woman letting her know that he threw Shyam out of the house and that he will never be returning to this house. Nani tries an intervention and let's Dadi know things have changed in the last 14 years but now is not the time to discuss it all. She questions Arnav on why he did it...and he let's her know Di is always and will always be the most important and anyone that hurt's Di will pay...and she better not discuss it in this house esp infront of Di. And the saga continues...😳

Ziddi Dadi enters the lion's den...oops I mean Arnav's room and tries to dig into the past...the woman just cant seem to leave this topic alone! Arnav Singh Raizada is a changed man today...the transformation from the past to the present has been a long and painful ride and today nothing will stop him from brining peace and happiness to his family. 👏

More of the past is revealed...his father committed suicide...he made his mother commit suicide...they were orphaned by their parents by choice...not by fate...Dadi throws shit at his mother and ASR is alive again! He will not tollerate ill words for his mother...ever...and he will not spare anyone who says anything against her either...even if it is his father's morther! This segment left me confused...How is Khushi's parent's car accident related to any of this if indeed his parents killed themselves? What could be so randomly connected from their past that will ruin their present? This is the part if i was reading a book i would quickly turn to the middle or end to find out what really happened...alas this is not the case here...have to wait and watch just like everyone else! 😆

This Dadi is annoying him and me at this point...she gives him a bhashan about how he always picks the wrong side etc. etc. etc and he finally loses it and tells her to stop it! He talks about forgetting...she reminds him how the past will affect his future. She warns him about not making the same mistake as he did the last time...and he tells her he made the right decision then and he has made the right decision now. Then his father made the mistake...this time Shyam did...and he will not come back to Shantivan! A quick Nani intervention as Anjali has returned to the house and the curtains are drawn on a firecracker week! 👍🏼

The pre-cap looks interesting...let's see what next week brings with it...overall I eagerly wait for Monday! Kya Khushi aur Arnav ki Suhaag Raat hogi? Ya will Arnav end up on the recliner or Poolside...😆

Barun Sobti another shout out to you boy...and NO this is not phangurling...but damnit he looks good, he delivers with power and has ASR back to being what the man was before the shaadi nautanki started! Tere bina is show ki to jaise Jaan hi nikal gayi thi! I think i say this for everyone here...ASR without you is totally useless! 😆

Didnt I tell you ladies he'd be Arnav for Khushi and ASR for everyone else? 😉 This is getting better and better this way we actually get to see 2-2 characters based in 1-1 Arnav Singh Raizada. I have too many theories going thru my head in time I will share them but for now I want this Radha Kishan of our time to get on with the nok-jhok and for Mrs. Raizada to stop being petrified of what might happen 😛

Delusions...

It is a short one today. Some flirting, Dadi drama, kettle. pot. black, mysterious meetings, detective giri.. you get the drift.

Arnav - Khushi:

Sigmund Freud said 'One is very crazy when in love.' Craziness that can drive one to take on silly antics or fall on the other side of the spectrum and attempt something rather drastic. Harmony is when you achieve a balance between the two: revel in silly antics everyday and be willing to take the drastic step if needed. The Raizadas and Jhas are far from achieving harmony. One is silly, the other is just plain dangerous.

Khushi's sanity is at the mercy of pagal pati who is not wasting anytime in driving her closer to the edge. Like a ticking clock, the talk of impending deed is echoing in her mind 24 hours a day. Not a minute to herself to even think sanely enough and do the normal chores. Poor girl can't even say no because she is in it for good. She knows it has to happen, it is the next step but the moral compass somewhere keeps on pointing north to pheras! Quoting from my post yesterday: Aside from the obvious rawness and originality of the adhoori marriage talk, the beauty of the conversation was the conviction and acceptance in Khushi's dilemma. The girl, who was counting days till the contract was over, is now worried about the completeness of her marriage. She is not running away, she is staying and just needs the adhesive to stay put. It is all fun and games now because mission has been accomplished: Pagal pati wanted the girl to acknowledge that she is stuck with him for the rest of her life and she did! Her nervousness is nothing but anticipation in disguise.
Dil nahi Deal ki bhasha - ASR still has some more learning to do. His 'deals' with Khushi never yield any results, it is only dil that gets the job done! His antics have already caused two strikes for Khushi in front of Dadi. Another one is not too far away! Sanka Devi with all her sanak is about to get a third strike in front of Dadi and will be firmly planted in the dugout. Perhaps another ASR-Khushi showdown in the near future?

ASR- Dadi:

Rose Kennedy once said "It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone."
ASR is locked inside the mirror room and dadi has the key. Wherever he turns he is reminded of the events that unfolded 14 years ago, the decisions he made and the man he has become. Using Shyam as a trigger, Dadi has awaken a much deeper hurt and pain. A 14 year old boy who took a decision that turned him into a man, a man plagued with responsibilities and marred with decisions for the last 14 years, a man who answers to no one, is suddenly being forced to justify his acts in front of the very person, who doesn't deserve a moment of his time. Questions turn into accusations, wounds are exposed and the pain becomes raw. Nothing is sacred anymore. The mother without whom ASR wouldn't exist is all of a sudden subjected to the worst criticism: She was weak and failed as a mother. The 14 year old boy in ASR wants to scream and lash out but the man ASR sticks to reasoning, his belief: Maa is sacred. Dad is the culprit. What happened that night? Why the parents ended their lives without thinking about their children? Too many questions.
Somewhere somehow, the 14 year old boy died and the man ASR was born. The man who all of a sudden had to be the responsible one, the caretaker, be the parent for his sister, be her support system. The roles were reversed, everything that the child should get from a parent was taken away from him. He was now the parent, the giver. He was not answerable to anyone because the right to question him was taken away. Everything a 14 year old boy stands for died the day his mother died. Everyday he makes a decision that impacts his family, ASR plunges deep into guilt, suffocates and feels the walls closing on him. What if it isn't the right decision, what if? But he doesn't have the luxury to contemplate. He has to decide and move on. Sadly, he is also the one who has to suffer the consequences. Is it fair for a 14 year old boy to give up his best years and be responsible for the lives of others? Is it fair for him to continue living for others and not give his life a chance? ASR - how do you breathe?

Anjali:

She has found her anchor in Dadi. Anjali is emotionally crippled and Dadi has just provided her the much needed crutch. What Anjali doesn't understand is the crutch is not that strong. Even the strongest wood can be damaged with continuous exposure to water. The same water that also cleanses everything. So Anjali stay indoors, because when it rains, it pours.

Side Note:

I find it very interesting and rather commendable that the CVs are playing around with the topic of suicide. To say the subject is sensitive is an understatement. Just the mere mention of parents' suicide has brought out mixed reactions from people. Coward, weak and selfish are the first words that come to almost everyone's mind. While it is easy to judge the act, it is cruel and insensitive to do so without knowing the reasoning. Agreed that the reasoning could never justify such a drastic act but understanding the rationale can at least broader the mind and instill some compassion. When we fail to understand what drives people to take such a step, we fail as humans. If one act couldn't be stopped, maybe the next one can be IF we are willing to put the prejudices aside, think, listen and understand.

A cautionary note to CVs:

Balance is the key here, imbalance leads to mistakes and cause you your precious TRPs. This see-saw of rom-com and drama only makes sense if the transition of one into the other is smooth and seamless. If the episode ends on high drama where the protagonist is left questioning his existence, the next episode should not blindly fall into silly antics. Just doesn't make sense. There was a huge outcry about Khushi's character: how can she be so OTT and chirpy when she has been humiliated and has suffered so much. How can she be like this? Well the character of ASR is no different. I know the masses are biased towards him and he can never be wrong (*snort*) but that still doesn't give you a license to butcher the character. You can't possibly show him shattered one minute and than back to pagal pati mode the next. Just because he is ASR, doesn't mean sab chalta hai..Be careful.

After the lighthearted episode we got yesterday, the drama returned today with yet another face off with Dadi and Arnav but this one revealed more of the past which is more tragic than originally believed.

Highlights:

Khushi being a nervous wreck, poor thing is so out of it that she does not realize she is filling water in a glass already filled with milk, wearing clothes inside out, making jalebis instead of kheer. Arnav's smile as he realized exactly what was the driving force behind this odd behavior.

Arnav deciding to have some fun with Khushi, he is becoming more bold by grabbing her in a room full of people and getting those heartbeats increasing. He reminds her of their suhaag raat and even asks if she's scared. Khushi doesn't know what to do or say, that is the effect he has on her. I loved this scene, its definitely one of my favorites now.

Arnav finally telling Dadi about Shyam, I thought for sure this would drag out but it didn't. Arnav wasted no time in telling Dadi the truth not caring what Nani had to say, he made it known he threw Shyam out and he wasn't returning or so Arnav believes

The confrontation scene with Dadi and Arnav was intense as we learned more about Arnav's past with it now being known both parents committed suicide, the anger, the pain, the bitterness towards his past is revealed in his voice and eyes. I really felt for Arnav especially when Dadi had the nerve to judge his mother for taking such a step, calling her weak. I really wanted Arnav to call Dadi out on her hypocrisy, she is the last person to judge his mother when she herself abandoned two young children who lost not one but both their parents, what is her excuse for walking away??? Arnav is someone who was forced to grow up too fast too soon. Had it not been for the Raizadas who knows what would've been of Arnav and Anjali's lives, its now becoming clearer why both are the way they are from Arnav's ruthless nature to Anjali's desperation to keep her SKD intact.

Another thing that is becoming clearer is the fact Shyam's return is very near, the increased meetings between him and Anjali, Dadi's determination to bring him back despite not knowing the facts, Arnav hellbent on keeping him out of their lives. Its coming and bonds will suffer as a result of it, especially Anjali and Arnav's.

Satyanash moment of the day - Nani and NK's scene, though I love them together why in the world is SP having other shows which could use promotions themselves promote their top rated show????

Rabba ve Spice Girls!

Sari, loved the post, but loved your title even more. Perfection!

Today's episode was "Aap aise kyon hain: The plot thickens" Action-packed as all the episodes of this week have been. Was it just me or were today's 22 minutes longer than 22 minutes? It felt like I was watching a maha-episode, which for IPK CVs, is about 30 whole minutes nowadays. Anyway, on to the main pointwas in order of mahattva. (That's importance, Ippy)

(1) My dear KKGSR, you are some appropriate age between 22 and 26. Not 16. You have known this man you claim to have "itna pyaar" for, for over a year. If there's anyone on the face of the earth who knows what makes him tick, it is aap only. Can we, for the sake of the holy devi maiyya stop acting like Lakshmiji did when she was led to the kasaai? (Maafi, veeps) You are ruining all the Rabba ve screenshots with that expression. Stop, pehleej.

(2) My dear ASR, agreed, you are all that and a bowl of badaam kheer. Your famed smirk is a weapon that you really ought to be carrying a license for. But can we, for the sake of the holy devi maiyya stop scaring that pagal wife of yours? While this is cute and all, we would actually like to see some progress in this ajeeb and anokha relationship you two adorable kids share. Because, in case your shaatir dimaag hasn't already put this together, this is why we're all watching the tamasha for 14 months. So, pehleej, while we're still young. I'll give you until Tuesday. Thanks in advance for your cooperation in this most important matter.

(3) My dear Anjali, these secret rendezvous have certainly improved your mood and general outlook towards everyone, and believe me, I couldn't be happier for you. But one of these days, I would appreciate a quick and short monologue or dialogue, regarding your thoughts and intentions regarding said rendezvous.

(4) My dear Daadiji, your grandson is again protecting those at fault, is he? You know so much more than you're letting on. Why that smart potha of yours didn't pounce on that statement and ask what you meant, I will never know. Wait, I do know; his mind is otherwise occupied. Par koi nahin, I caught it and so did the fandom. When are you planning to show your hand?

(5) My dear NK, it is really never cool to point out a lady's wardrobe gaffe. It's even worse when you choose to do it at the breakfast table in the presence of only the entire crazy Raizada family. You're lucky it was only Khushiji who doesn't ever hold a grudge. If it had been someone else, you wouldn't be NK or kahinke.

Couldn't end this without a shout-out to Barun Sobti. You were awesomeness today, dude. 😃

Episode with everything. Romance, Drama, Comedy, Suspense and Dadi.

We start off with Raizadas playing happy families at breakfast time. The devoted Raizada Bahus feeding and the not so devoted Raizadas being fed. ASR looks at Khushi and distracts her again, with his Oh so droolworthy smirk that sends the IF fandom into a puddle. (Not Me. Fandom.)😳

Nani asks Khushi Bitiya for Pani. And distracted bahu, pours pani into dadi's doodh wala glass.😲

Satyanash Khushi Bitiya! Yeh kya kardiya! Doodh ki Lassi bana di! Now face the wrath of dadi's palm.

Luckily dadi follows the silence at the dining table rule otherwise Khushi would have become a lassi.

Doodh symbolism ' Khushi is going to do doodh ka doodh and pani ka pani of dadi's palm in the near future. I look forward. Ja Khushi Bitiya!⭐️

NK then realises the garbar in Khushi's atrocious dress sense and no it wasn't the tent.😲

In her SR worry, she wore her clothes inside out and Arnav takes advantage of the poor souls helplessness and asks her why she is so Khoi Khoi?

Well Duh! You need an answer to that Arnav?? Bechari is at wit's end. Pata nai kya kya soch rahi hai!

Switch to Anjali slithering out the house successfully dodging the papad ka tukhda and Munni Mami to go on a date with a tree.

Anjali di hai sabse sayani. Bhai ke mote mote paise ke notes ke saath Hilton pe chai peerahi hai.🥱

Later Payal asks Khushi to get the genda phools. And Khushi and Genda phool never go hand in hand do they?😆

Arnavji pulls her in by his signature pulling move and sends the gendas into a rain bahar, I mean phool bahar.

Wonderfully shot this scene. I Likes. Phere hone wale hai, Ippy says. Genda phool bhi gir gai. Smug Grin!

He reminds her again of the SR deal and sends her nerves into a tizzy and the girl goes to make badam kheer. Uff ho. Kitni badam kheer khate hai yeh log! Phir bhi dimaag nahi kaam karta!

Khushi in her fear, because Arnavji is going to kha her, makes jalebis and Payal and Nani are wondering what the eff is wrong with the girl. Yesterday she was singing, breaking beds and talking about pheras, today she is just plain loopy.

And masala lagane aagaya Arnavji. Flusters her up more and leaves.

Here i thought we would get some Kitchen Romance but nai, Switch to Masterchef's Kitchen romance with Veg and Non Veg Instead.😆

Next blah blah,🥱 5 mins of important Arshi time wasted on Aloo Gobi, mutton, chicken. Sigh. Ise Badtameezi kehte hai SP.😡

Next Dadi, wants to know where her damaadji is, why he didn't come to meet her.. Eh you nay Queen Betty Dadiji.

ASR comes clean and tells her he kicked dear damaad out the house because he was dhoka-ing Di.

Like how he didn't mention Khushi's part👍🏼. Since that would have set Dadi of on her Khushi hatao raaste se warpath.

Even after being told to shut up. She continues to blah blah, blah blah, blah blah.

Dadi touches a lot of ASR nerves, and we find out Papa Malik was also suicidal.😲

Oh Dadi You.Do.Not.Blame.Arnav.Singh.Raizada for successfully supporting his family when you were in hiding in your padded cell.

This boy looked after the Loopy Raizadas, a sleaze Jija, a psycho Di and all the freeloader guests while you weren't there fulfilling your so called responsibility.

And what is with everyone fluffing up the padding around Di's khaali head? Why does no one think about Arnav when he is hurting?? Koi baat nai. Ab Khushi aagai hai. Hmmph!

VM today. Made it Monday. Youtube let me upload it today. Chalo goi gal Nai. Got the chance to add new stuff to it. 😃 A Bit patchy at some instances, I lost interest due to the trouble uploading. Apologies.

Arnav's life was not fair on him. It's so sad to see just when he is ready to leave this all behind, the past comes haunting him back in the shade of Dadi.
There was so much hurt in his eyes when he asked Dadi why would she want them to remember the incident that ruined their lives. The woman still does not back off.
I don't know if Shyam sent her or not. But, feels like she wants Anjali's baby's dad to be in the baby's life just because Arnav denies to keep any relationship with his dad. Just this morning she came to know Arnav changed his name to Raizada and she does not like that. Vindictive she is.
And not just khushi, she is also not happy with Arnav's mom's decision but does not blame her son for committing the same sin? Suicide?
I am happy that today the issue of face off between the two was not about khushi. Shift of focus from Saas/Bahu saga. Would very much like to know how they will take the love story forward among family drama.
Oh yes...kitchen was such a wasted opportunity!! The ladies left first. I thought he would stick around for longer but "sigh"

Sugar's post...

Hi ladkis!

Hope you all had or are having a super Janamshtmi. The last time I was in India during this was when I was a kid, so it feels good to see the lights and all the decor, desi style!
Although I did get pushed a lot at the temple today, but I got to do darshan so I'm happy haha!

Okay now onto the show!

Alright Creative Team, Actors, Crew, everyone just stand up while we applaud 👏. You guys were simply spectacular this week. I mean if we don't reach the 3's next week, I'll be pissed and believe me I'll send 100's of emails to Star Plus texting "NO" because I don't give 2 f's as to what Suraj cooks and how 😡. Especially not when I'm watching my show and especially when a show that has TRP's of above 5.5 pees over others territories. I don't like that and I bite, much like ASR.
But yes, well done Team IPKKND 😊

Arnav and Khushi:
I'm in love with these two again! Characterization has taken a notch up, especially for Khushi and that's good to see.
Yes, the pheras were a slight bit off. But, to all those who think that was off her characterization, I would like to defend her.
When Arnav got married to her that night, the only reason he applied the sindoor and put a magalsutra on her was because she believed in it. It was all for her.
Yet again, last week when she was willing to let the contract end, Arnav asked her "aisi bhul jaaogi", "itna easy hai tumhare liye".. again showing us just how much Khushi respects this relationship and has accepted it with her heart.
The pheras did not matter, because that day for all purposes she got married to the man she came to love.
And that love, is what made her realize that even though she loves Arnav and he loves her, this relationship can be unionized only by the pheras. Her insecurity of being torn away from Arnav made her realize that the pheras were important. For that extra strength in their togetherness she tells him and demands for pheras.

And he will give them to her. The pheras will happen the night of Janamashtmi. A new avatar of Arnav will come to the foreground, one of Krishna to get ready for the battle.

Anjali:
The less say the better. I honestly can write a book on adjectives that I could use to describe her ignorance and desperation at this point.

She's walking on thin ice and for all I care, the ice below her can crack.

She has willingly and intentionally gone behind her brother's back to sneak around with her husband. You only sneak when you know its wrong.
She's all set to blame Chotte and his wife when Daadi intervenes. And that won't be too long from now. If the baby is due in a few days, Shyam will follow shortly after the baby.

Dadi and Arnav:

She knows how to hit and she hits where it hurts. She came straight to the point, "its been 2 days, where is damaadji". Nani tried to deflect the topic, but there comes her alter ego and tells it to her as it is "maine unko dhake marke is ghar se bahar phenka."

What follows is a battle of who's right.

I really liked that he told her exactly how it was. He grew up before time and life taught it to him the hard way, but he indeed has learnt how to take care off his family and keep them happy.

She believes that throwing out the husband of your heavily pregnant sister was not right. And goes on to call his mother weak for committing suicide.
Really Dadi? Maa is weak but Anjali isn't? Who says every woman needs a man to raise a child?!

And then another blast from the past is revealed. Dad committed suicide too. And from the looks off it, killed himself and that action off his influence their mom to follow. She couldn't live without her husband and decides to follow him and kills herself.
All this tells me is why Arnav was so apprehensive towards marriages. And also tells me that Maa and Anjali are two peas in a pod.

CVs I don't doubt your story-telling, but I demand to know as a daughter that what would drive a mother so unstable that she decides to commit suicide leaving her two children behind the day her daughter is getting married.

Daadi's last lines have set the ball rolling big time on a major hint that had in the past and will play out simultaneously.
He supported "the wrong" in the past, his mother? Maybe the other woman too? Which is why his mother's death haunts him even more, because "he could've stopped it".

Either way, Daadi did tell us that Arnav may have chucked someone out in the past too, now if that was his dad or the "other woman", only time will tell. But all this happened without his mother's knowledge. And that's potentially where Khushi's parents could be involved.
But, Maa much like Anjali was not able to take it and Arnav is trying to not re-create history.

Little does he know that di is all set to re-create it herself and the storm she's bringing in will be difficult to withstand.

Eagerly waiting for next week..

one thing i am not liking is..they should not drag this anji mystery meetings..

Shastra - They are trying to keep the suspense although we know who it is😆 But we also thought it could be papa Malik. Now we know it has to be Shyam...Ultimately all these new track introductions is to prolong the Arhi union...they seem to have some time frame for the shaadi...
