Well thngs seemed to fluctuate like a pendulum wen I was wid maan..

I wondered hw I cud feel so much of variations in my emotions wid him.. der was nvr a moment of surety abt hw I felt wid him.. though for some reason I was anything bt insecure wid him!!

Why?

I dint know..

I went to my room.. still lost in my thots.. abt maan who seemed to b featuring in my thots beyond measure!! N dint even realize whn I slept off

It was d ringing of my cell phone which woke me up..

Lookin at the tym I realised I had slept off for long..

Gosh.. I wanted to spend tym wid meer bt dis dusht danav's thots had disturbed my schedule.. I felt guilty abt nt spending tym wid meer..

The phone was still ringing and luking at the caller I felt guilt like never b4..

It was dev..

Hey babaji.. wht hv I been upto.. I was supposed to call dev and I'd forgotten tht..!!

But received the call and his peppy voice greeted me n I took a breath of relief he wasn't mad..

Surprised though I was.. I was glad he was fyn.. bt den he'd just left today mrng..

N tht luked ages ago..

Otherwise normally evry tym I'd b late at answerin DD's mails I wud have to bare his anger.. even if it was a minor delay!! N tht sounded so much like..

"hey geet.. u der?"

I came out of my reverie wid dev's voice.. here I was again thinking of maan!! Even whn I was talkin wid dev..

Who is dd!!

More guilt!!

"hey.. whts dis ya.. I just left n u r already lost? Koi mil gaya kya?"

He was making it worse for me..

"dev.."

"wht dev.. ek to u dint call bt thts ok bt nw m talkin to u n u r lost.. tell me truth now who is it?"

"dev.. u r too much.. !!"

"well considering u must b at home.. I don't think der is ny need for me to lose sleep over.. after all who is der at home? Only maan bhai.. n if I know him.. I m sure he ll b busy wid some work"

B4 I cud say smthng der was a knock at d door..

"hey just hold a sec.. lemme c.."

I opened the door n was shocked to c maan der..

N der I was lost again.. wondering why he was here..

Then I noticed some files in his hands..

His well built arms.. which had embraced me.. the warmth of the hug comin back to me..

Thnk god he dint realize tht I was.. umm.. drooling over him..

N tht too wid dev on call.. not tht he cud c.. but still..

"umm.. geet? Wo I wanted to talk 2 u?"

"may I cm in?"

It was den I realised he was still standing at the entrance of the door..!!

"plz cm in.."

Suddenly I remembered tht dev was still on call..

"umm.."

"don't take my name.. I wanna know wht maan bro has to say.. plz plz.. "

"hmm.."

"r u busy? I ll come later.."

"no.. wo.. I mean.."

"its ok u continue ur call.. n dese r ur files for the project.. thot u'd like to look over.. n if u have ny doubts u can ask me.."

Saying so he left..

N I dint like it one bit..

A mad thot came to my mind..

It was an impossible surreal meeting between us..

Wid no hugs n none of his khadoos dusht danav mode!!

N he had come to speak to me abt smthng..

What was it he wanted to talk to me about!??

Must b work.. I presumed..

Bt still who comes n gives u work b4 u join..

Only dis dusht danav cud do tht!!

n den I remembered he dint know ny of it!! I filled him wid all d details..

I smiled.. he did know hw to charm a lady..

As I hung up I realised suddenly DD for me wasn't dev, I had subconsciously given the title to maan..!!
