Cheering for Devendra Singh

Hi All

This kid of just 16, Devendra Singh is an exceptional singer.😛

I am praying for his win this Season., especially after the elimination of Kaushik Deshpande (he was a real threat).😃

How many of you are with me?

I think he is 17...but very very talented...so excited to see him perform every week...I am def routing for him

I try not to give in with the hype, but every week Devendra knocks it out with a great performance.Especially the classical round. I wasnt expecting him to be that good.

I am rooting for poorvi koutish as I feel she has an unique voice which is missing in all other contestants and she has the potential to be a world famous playback singer and achieve her goal of winning emmy awards.

Devender Pal Singh is a very talented singer with velvet voice and superb toner quality. He is a smart & dedicated singer who practises his music a lot. He is trained in classical Indian Music or Shastriya sangeet. This guy sings every song with perfection and his Sur - taal, harkets and murkeyaas are all very strong and he seldom makes any mistake. His future is very bright. He may not win this competition as Vipul is also a strong contestant. At this point in time its least important who wins II6. Devender got required exposure and he will be a very successful singer in time to come. This kid got 2 standing ovations so far that is from Asha ji and Pundit Jasraj ji. Lata di also likes him.

Yesterday when I was driving from work to home, a local radio station played his song Patta patta buta buta from Mir Taqui Mir. His voice quality was so sweet and impressive that I felt as he was a veteran singer who has been singing for years.

Devender is the best contestant on Indian Idol 6. Poorvi doesn't deserve to be in the top 5. She should have been eliminated long time ago but I guess she is Sunidhi's favorite for whatever reason and that is why she is there...not fair.
